Hi guys,

Earlier we added Dusk Maiden of Amnesia and Queen's Blade Rebellion to our spring lineup. Let's add on one more with: Medaka Box!!!

Medaka Box will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following territories: U.S.A, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Here's a little something to get you hyped for this series:
Medaka Box is a new blockbuster from Ishin Nishio, one of the hottest fantasy novelists today known for the Monogatari franchise, and GAINAX, the producers of the Evangelion series. The homonymous magna series is currently published in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and has sold over three million copies in fourteen volumes in Japan. Charming and intelligent, Medaka is a martial art master in the 10th grade: a girl of simplicity and fortitude. And what’s more, she is heiress to a mega rich family. It is no surprise she is elected as a member of the student council. Anytime you have a problem, file a complaint with her office and she will find a practical solution, even though it will be a very eccentric one. ”

Queen's Blade Rebellion will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following territories: U.S.A, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.

For those who are tantalized and titillated by the return of Queen's Blade, here's what you can look forward to seeing:
“Set after the events of QUEEN'S BLADE, Gainos and the entire Continent has fallen under a tyrannical rule led by Claudette, the Thundercloud Queen and victor of the last Queen's Blade tournament. Annelotte, a brave young knight and exiled princess, leads a band of rebels called the Rebel Army to overthrow Claudette and restore peace and order to the Continent.”

Back to our earlier announcement with Dusk Maiden of Amnesia:
Dusk Maiden of Amnesia will air on Sundays at 9pm PDT in the following territories: U.S.A, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand

Dusk Maiden of Amnesia revolves around a first-year high school student, Teiichi Niiya who had just enrolled at Seikyou Private Academy. One day while wandering the hallowed halls, he gets lost in one of the school's old buildings and encounters Yuuko Kanoe, who reveals herself as a ghost with no memories. While investigating her death by looking through the school's seven mysteries, they discover the truth about these ghost stories and help those who are troubled…

Is this the end of our announcements? It might be, but then again...

Yawn. Region restricted. It's just as I predicted.
You start off with announcing a batch of titles available worldwide and then it dies down and then introduce all the biggest titles, which are not worldwide.
Well whatever, UTW is subbing this show.

Too bad It's look like the best shows are the most restricted. It's pretty stupid, as exactly these shows would gain the most from worldwide licences (and increase of premium users from these countries). I'll wait until announcement are done, so I can decide whenever renew my premium in hope of bright future. Well region restricted or not, I probably end up with watching crunchy subs in Neverland:P

Yes! Crunchyroll got the ones I wanted except for one, which Funi got instead. I was hoping you got Dusk Maiden, and I don't mind this being a latecast(I assume first two will be posted on Sunday April 15). And knew you would have at least 30 simulcasts total for Spring.

Checked the CR site a moment ago, freaked out when I saw the announcement!!!
CR is amazing for getting this, this is one of my most wanted anime this season xD

One more announcement, crossing my fingers that it is either Medaka Box or Eureka Seven AO
Whatever we get though, I'm already happy with this season

I'm hoping they will catch up, because yeah the first episode did come out yesterday.

Personally for me this season I'm not too worried about delays so I'm so far behind on everything from last season that I wanted to watch, but I'd still prefer them getting stuff on time so no one has an argument about how they could watch it elsewhere sooner, even if it isn't a legal source.

Anyway this looks like a great title... CR has really been connecting in the past few announcements with everything I've wanted to watch... as always... they start off slow and usually finish up quite strong.

They still are one box shy of 30 at this point.

It will be interesting to see if they add another box after the next announcement, or just say something like, "Is that all? Just wait and see".

I see on the publisher page that this one was a Media Factory title, just as Medaka Box, so I suspect we will find out later this was a co-op license with Sentai.

The only other simulcasts left to announce after CR finishes are the ones Nico Nico will bring to the Funico party. As they made no announcements themselves at either Sakura-con or Anime Boston, I hope they are not planning on waiting until the next big con, which isn't until the end of the month. If they follow their past pattern we probably will see no announcement from them until the end of this week or sometime next week.
