Most of them didn't sell enough for a second season. Arakawa Under The Bridge sold well enough to get a second season, and it got one.

For examnple, here's why we can expect more Tiger & Bunny and not more Deadman Wonderland.

Some things make money in other ways, so the DVD/BD distributor does not have to make up much of the production budget ~ Chihaya Furu is an example of a title that sold poorly as DVD/BDs but which sells well in print, so the publisher might decide to bring it back for another run some day. Some things push merchandise or some other associated goods, and that gets them made (eg Cardfight Vanguard and various mecha shows over the years).

And then there's the Deadman Wonderland's, that need to sell DVD/BD's to survive.

Oh i see they did get fate/zero 2, but how about cardfight vanguard? if CR doesn't get it, no one will -_-.

If you overlooked it, you had also mentioned Saint Seiya Omega in your original post and that's on the list linked as a simulcast too.

Oh man, I'm pissed off! Just as I thought the anime industry and Crunchy Roll couldn't sink any lower. How on earth can they make anime like Medaka Box and Upotte...IT'S FRACKING UPOTTE?!?!?! What are they, insane?!
If the summer anime suck as much as this season does, I'm terminating my CR-account...if that's possible...

Not sure what this has to do with CR sinking. They pick up what the industry puts out.

Between this and people clamoring for Zetman, Medaka Box, and Mysterious Girlfriend X, all based on well received manga I believe, it's becoming damned if you do, damned if you don't, and, screw it, send them all to hell anyways just in case.

I'd rather see how a show and season plays out before I make judgments. I thought last season was going to be decent and instead it turned out incredibly well.

They still have 3 sequels to get, Fate/Zero 2,Cardfight vanguard season 2 and Eureka Seven Ao(funico might have got this), Also funico grabbed up one of your sequels, kore wa zombie desu ka season 2. Oh crap and how about saint seiya omega, CR had its two prequels.

I was the one hoping they would get medaka box, didn't think they would with all the sequels they needed to get. but damn they did. I kinda wanted sankrea to, but doubt they will get it now. Ginga E kickoff, bakutech bakugan, metal beyblade, jewel pet, pretty rhytym, duel masters v and lupin would be nice, but I doubt anybody will simulcast these, since none of their prequels have been.

Space battleship Yamato looks amazing to, with so many good animes coming out this season, the websites just can't keep up.

Items bolded by me.

CF2 isn't out of the running yet, but something apparently happened with it:
http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-757279/cf-vanguard-asia-circut-hen?fpid=39665370

Sankrea was already announced as licensed by Funimation, as was the new Lupin series, and both will be simulcast by Funimation and Nico Nico (eventually). You can find confirmations of both either in the CR news section or in the news at ANN.

Yeah I understand how it works and it's a shame, but what I wonder is, do we really have to settle with fan service ecchi themes?
I watched both Medaka Box and Upotte and they drove me nuts. It's like they think I'm actually gonna sit down and enjoy having an a*s shoved up my face...if I wanted that, I'd watch porn.
Edit: Sure, we all like different but there is something weird when there are more shows with big bouncy boobs than shows without it...

Not entirely ~ after all, Mushi-mushi, Chihaya-Furu, and several more I could name got made ... we would have to "settle for" all fan service ecchi if they hadn't.

And Arakawa under the Bridge got a sequel (though from sales of the sequel it won't get a third) ... Tiger & Bunny sold a bucketload of discs, plus have their "real world advertisers inside the plot of the show" trick.

This season, I can count five or six series that I'm sure aren't ecchi fan service for Scandinavia ~ though its too bad that the noitaminA series aren't getting to Scandinavia yet, or else that looks like it would have hit seven or eight.

Now, they probably aren't all anybody's cup of tea, since they are all quite different ~ but still, its not really an unending wasteland desert of ecchi, even if it sometimes seems that way. Obviously anybody that tried to watch everything that came out of Japan in a season would watch a lot of ecchi, but then an anime fan in Japan who wasn't into fan service ecchi would skip those shows too.

I will make an apology here but the problem is most of the series you mentioned even my beloved umineko sell like shit in japan and this is where sales matter. This is why mitsudmoe was canceled half-way through season two, wandering son is not getting second season or why future diary, dead-man wonderland are pretty much auto-license from funimation/sentai here becasue they appeal to our market more. The only top anime last year that sold well/liked in the east/west is ano-hana, hanasaku iroha, gosick, Index II, and Steins; Gate and usagi drop

This is like a political campaign argument. If this, then that. If this, then that is exempted. These usually end up as some false fallacy (I think they're called). The concern shouldn't be ecchi themes, which you seem to be going after a bit here, but whether there is still quality anime that you want to watch, or more generally, a breadth of anime to support an industry through viewing contentment of its audience/customers/viewers--meaning typical, original, and niche themes get a chance. I think for sure and by far we still have that.

2 to 4 of the 30 shows CR is carrying are t&a prominent driven themes. The numbers and show content do not support your earlier criticism of the CR/industry or the anime broadcast industry direction as a whole. If anything, in the past years those type of shows have gone down and the number of more smart, interesting, designed shows have gone up. Every season is different--the number of horror shows changes, same with action, mecha, cultural. There seemed to me fewer harem, game, fantasy shows these past couple of seasons.

You seem more disappointed in that you aren't getting sequels that you wanted, but looking at the entire breadth of anime the past few years. ...get in line:

http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2012/02/27/japanese-fans-name-the-most-needed-anime-sequels

Given the list in that news article and the comments from CR members below it, there are a lot of anime fans that want sequels and a lot of shows that deserve them.
