Popular music in Japan right now?

What's some popular music in Japan right now - not the teenybopper stuff. Something someone in their 20s and 30s would listen to. All I find when searching is the Japanese teen pop idols. I really doubt Japanese 20-30 somethings are listening to that stuff.

Well, yes, Lots of Japanese men in their 20-30 even 40 like AKB48.

There are many other types of popular music in Japan, though.

Bump of Chicken
Orange Range
Ayaka
Kaela Kimura
Ikimonogakari
Pornografity
Mr. Children
Kobukuro

They are very poplar to Japanese 20-30.

J-Pop and K-Pop are massive in Japan, so searching for popular music will only really bring you those results. Nothing wrong with J-Pop though I guess it all depends on what kind of music genres you like.

A couple Japanese of bands/people you might want to check out:

Toe
Soil and Pimp Sessions
FLOW
Hata Motohiro
Ellegarden

But Japanese people like a lot of Western music as well. Such as The Beatles and Mr. Big.

I like "Zero", too . Bump of Chicken is quite a popular band and provides its songs to One Piece, Doraemon, Final Fantasy zero, Tales of the Abyss and so on.
