On the computer I'm using, Medaka Box episode 1 has two different countdowns and one has the membership star. However, them having the same link of http://www.crunchyroll.com/medaka-box/episode-1-595339 reveals says, "This video has not been released yet. It will be available for Anime Members in 7 hours and free users later."

Just wondering why that is and just wanted to let people know for those confuse like me.

The first episode of Medaka Box aired a week ago.
We're making it available to Premium Members a half hour before it is available to Free Members.

The second Episode will then be available to Premium Members & Free Members will have to wait the normal week for new content.
