"The Moon That Embraces the Sun" was so good. One of the best historical dramas this year I might say. Kim Soo Hyun and Han Ga In, omg just marvelous acting done by both. Hands down, this drama made me cry a lot and I was on the edge of my seat at a lot of the scenes. Very very good drama.

I'll have to check it out. I love Medieval Korean Dramas. I'm still in the middle of Yi San.

Yes, it looks like after Yi San and Dong Yi, they ran out of real life Medieval Korean Cinderella stories, so they had to make up a fictional King to get another one. I like the way that Yi san and Dong Yi mix fact and fiction ~ the reason why we don't know about half of the intrigue and all of these personal secrets is that they were kept secret, of course! Which lets them them use historical facts, maybe enough to fill a two hour (and fairly boring) documentary as the background for the story they are creating. |
