Most of the time my acquaintances don't even notice I use sarcasm. Not sure how I feel on that still.

but I'd never use sarcasm in a negative sense towards the people I converse with. If they mistake it that way, I'll explain myself and/or apologize to avoid conflict.

Some times people are just in a bad mood . . . If they get pissed off at me I either ask them, "who bit you in the ass today?" Or sometimes I'll go the other way and be really apologetic . . . it's hard to read people sometimes so you have to be ready. I've never gotten into a real fist fight like that but you never know.
I don't see it happen much with the people I work with, they're older. When I was younger I would see it more often.

The people you have to be most careful around are the ones with an inferiority complex....

I usually use sarcasm on my best friends or good friends.
Other than that I don't.
It might hurt their feelings ,but they know I'm joking.
I'm not the type to make them feel bad about themselves or whatever it is i talked about.

^ I just love this. When you've not just pushed buttons, you have pushed THE button.

Yes. I usually don't care about what they think... because sensitive people aren't usually my friends anywho... but when I DO care for some reason or another. I have to beg for forgiveness afterward.

HAHA, the sensitive need not apply is pretty much my motto. If you can't handle the razz of shit you're going to get from me, you may not be tall enough to ride this ride, I'm just sayin...

But at least when people like us actually have to bite the pride and apologize, they know we mean it because that's not our typical modus operandi.

If they notice you insulted them then you're bad at sarcasm.

I use my witty sarcasm to turn the tables around on people, who try to be funny with me.

Everyone is sarcastic. I am really sarcastic too. Unfortunately for me my ignorant mother always gets me wrong.

I think sometimes people take things to seriously. I believe (for myself at least) that if my sarcasm hurt someones feelings I should tell them I'm sorry and that I was wrong to say it. The relationships I have with my family and friends are more important to me then whether what I said was truly offensive or not.

A fellow Evangelion fan who applies liberal amounts of sarcasm in everyday conversation... I like you more and more. <3

I usually apologize when I want something from them, and they won't give it to me if they're you know, in a pissy mood.

sarcasm is my way of being nice without resorting to insults.
