I'd say, "I'm married you moron, and you know it. What's wrong with you?"

Almost all my guy friends have professed some sort of love for me when I was in high school.

I think twice I laughed, one time I told them my confession of liking their best friend, another I completely ignored them for 6 years and then later got engaged to them after going out for 3 years.

Yup.

Laugh and tell a truth behind a joke, that helps him to move on.

I think in order to make a great relationship, you should be friends. You know the person, their personality. And you know if you would be happy to share a life together.

Depends on if I feel the same way or not. If I like them too, I'd say "Great, I like you too. Lets date. Awesome." And if not I'd go "Nope. I don't like you. Not in that way. You're cool, but I'm uninterested in an intimate relationship with you."

laugh at him... surely that's my first reaction to him...

but if i see that he's really serious about it i'll told him that if his feeling will be the same after one month then we'll try to do things in a new level... afterall we're friends so we already know each other and will easily understand each other compare to those who start their relationship dating... what i'm saying is that we have the foundation if we're going to make our friendship into romantic kind of relationship...

I hate it when this happens, it's happened a few times for me and I painfully saw it coming. Only thing to do and say was "hey I appreciate that and I understand your feelings, but I'm not romantically interested in you."

If you are important enough for that person they will move on with you, but I've had some friendships crushed because they couldn't handle my rejection. Worst thing is when your friend won't take no for an answer and keeps trying. That annoys the hell outta me, I wish some people would just take a hint, a no for a no and move the fuck on.

Just don't be a dick if you don't have feelings for them. They ARE your friend, you know?
