Does anyone else think it is a bit ironic, how in the latest chapter, 582, Kabuto states that he is the closest inidividual in this world that is the closest to the Sage of Six Paths. It is a bit funny, but if you think about it thoroughly, Naruto is actually the closest, as he has or, is close to, mastering to control the nine tails fox, and also, every other tailed beast actually respects Naruto, and believes he is the individual that is meant to bring the tailed beasts together. They believed he is the individual that the Sage of the Six Paths predicted. Also, when Naruto is in Fox mode, or when he turns gold or whatever, he has the same symbol across his chest as the Sage of the Six Paths did.
Tell me what you think, am I right or wrong?

I believe that Naruto is going to be the most powerful and not sure how the battle will go but I hope Sasuke will finally recognize Naruto as the person Itachi wanted him to follow ..I believe Naruto will be the answer though Im sure it will be a terrible price. He has mastered so much without borrowed power like Sasuke. Kabuto needs to be kicked into the next universe never to be heard from again the sleazy little jerk!

MMMM That is a wonderful question but I must agree with you. I mean it is only natural that the enemy feels he is closest however if you come to the technicality of things, the sage was an eye user so Naruto lacking in this field cant be considered close to him in that area, however in many other categories, Naruto fits the role but in the end I believe since naruto is his own person he wouldn't even want to consider himself as a new sage or anything of the sort, because he is solely NARUTO UZUMAKI and no one else. lol
P.S. To be honest I truly feel naruto surpasses and will surpass the Sage of the Six Paths in a way that is both pure and dark in nature but Truly magnificent in a light that you can't help but follow the will, courage, and guts of Naruto Uzumak!.......He truly has the makings of a legend. !!!!

After Naruto, I would say by power (not for the corrupt usage like those idiots Sasuke, Madara, Tobi, and Kabuto are using. They don't know what true power is. I am referring to what Haku told Naruto).

yeah when it comes to the tailed beasts naruto is closer to the sage of the 6 paths. . .but i'm pretty sure that what kabuto means is the way he is close to becoming godlike as the sage did. . .he perfected edo tensei and the snake sage mode. . .he even calls himself a dragon now and when you think about it he is pretty Godly

Yeah Naruto is probably closest to the sage of the six paths for all the reasons you stated. When kabuto says that he is, he also has no idea what naruto is up to..... or atleast he hasnt observed that power for himself... he is probably just riding high on the fact that he found sage mode...something that naruto mastered some 100+ chapters ago

No one is that close to the sage of the six paths except for Kabuto. To be the Six Paths, you need light style(blood line of the uzamaki or senju clan) and have dark style with resonates inside the sharingan. If naruto wants to be like the sage of the six paths, he needs sharingan b/c he already is part of the uzamaki clan and already mastered the nine tails, probably won't get sharingan. Saskue is way out of reach to be sage. Kabuto comes close b/c he experimented on himself with DNA from the uzamaki(from Karin) and if he wins the fight against Saskue and Itachi, he'll take the sharingan and implant it into him. After that he's invisible and as strong as the sage of the six paths.

I think Kabuto has become far too corrupted to ever match the Sage of Six Paths, as his will was itself part of him, and he favored the younger of his Son's ideas for peace. Something that I suspect Kabuto and everyone else on that side will never understand.
While he is, in some ways, similar to the Sage of Six Paths he isn't even close to his level. Of those alive Naruto seems to be closest, simply because he is following both the path that was set down, and is, in many ways, a reflection of the Sage. I think we will discover that the Rinnegan is not nearly as important to the process as it first appears, or even that Naruto still has room for serious growth, or perhaps even both. It will be interesting to see how events unfold.

Click to show or hide Personally I find it ironic that Kabuto is yet another example of the corruption of the past spilling over into the present... yet another obstacle to be overcome in order to change the world. That he has driven himself completely insane (and yes, that is insanity of the highest order) in the process isn't too surprising. |

Well what did itachi give naruto when they were tracking Saskue prior to the saskue itachi fight.
Itachi said you will need this. Or was that the eye trap he set in case he came up against saskue.
Naruto will suppass the The path of six sage, he has suppased all others, the naruto saskue fight if it happends will be good.
But why does he not hit on sukura.
