Bakuman ending!

the ending was tottally underwhelming,
Personally I would have been happier if they did only ONE PANEL for the whole romance thing (come on, 10 years for a stupid kiss, no one ever cared about this fairytale relationship/promise anyways).
I really wanted to see a better ending for the other characters (only one pannel on the penultimate chapter? - things went reverse) and their manga. as well as a glimpse of the future. We can't have it all, can we?

I think the whole pure love thing is a more Japanese thing and all of us from another region can never really understand it. But I do feel a bit empty that all the side stories and charter's are just getting brushed under the rug, but either way I enjoy a series that finds a natural end. It is frustrating reading a series say Bleach where the author is for all intents and purposes, imploding. Where at its current pace is going to have a fractured and abrupt ending.

Having not read it or seen the show (when I make this statements, it's almost always gonna to be ignoring the scanlations or fansubs I may have encountered just briefly looking at them), and from what I've heard, it wouldn't be too surprising if they had a guidebook ("Death Note 13: How to Read" was a guidebook to the manga series).

Also, for those sad, at least the series is getting a third anime season this fall. 70+ episodes should definitely be able to cover much of a 170-something chapter manga.

Quite honestly, it's sad to see it end. It was a great manga, and they could have given us at least a little glimpse of Mashiro's and Azuki's future :/ Can't wait for the next piece though ^^
