well if you pick smell you also affecting your taste too

Lol yeah I was just about to say, everyone choosing to lose smell is losing their sense of taste as well.
Losing sight would really suck (funny we're on a video streaming site), hearing would also suck, but to a lesser degree. Touch would suck, in the way that you will not be able to feel pleasure anymore.

This question sucks.
At 4:15am, everything seems to suck.

Id say I would choose to die instead....Im not sure I would still pick that if given the question in reality...but living without one of your senses isnt nice..

you cant die thats cheating! you'd give up life so easily?

I wouldnt give up any part of my life willingly. All of it, including the bad, make me what I am....same with the senses...loose one of them and a part of you goes with it..

Well picking smell over taste would be logical because while your taste would be affected it would not be as if it was gone completely. I'm not exactly sure what giving up touch would mean, I wouldn't choose it if it mean i culdn't feel pain or anything at all... So I'd go with smell too

Touch but I'mnot talking about being completely numb.

but thats the whole point it you had to lose all of the sense what would you give up?

Oh then I'd say smell 'cause waking up with a sharp object in your shoe without noticing then dying from loss of blood doesn't sound intrugin'. Even though lack of smell can backfire 'cause of the lack of detecting one's own bad smell.

Actually, a majority of your taste sensations would be gone along with your smell. In fact, some people clump the two senses together as one, being the sense of smell.
Try this for fun. Next time you have a massive cold, note how things taste. Then tell us what you find out =3

No, smell is not dependant on taste.....think of your tongue as an extra nose =]

I agree. I had a the flu a couple weeks ago for three days. I could not taste anything. All I could "taste" was the texture of the food
