I posted the same question on another site, and got flamed.
But let me explain myself, and hopefully people are more rational here.

Don't start flaming me just because I'm not a JB hater, too.
I don't listen to his music. It isn't my style, I'm not a fan.
Admittedly, I did think he was a girl when I first heard him.
But just because he sounds like a girl and his music doesn't appeal to my tastes doesn't mean I automatically hate his guts. Call me a hipster, but I'm not about to jump on the "HATE JB" bandwagon.
His music may appeal to other people, which is absolutely fine. I don't give a damn either which way.

Seriously though. I hear more hype about JB from the JB haters than the JB fans.
I think people just screw with him because it's the "cool" thing to do.
That's really sad.

And I think this goes for Twilight, too.
People only hating on Twilight because other people are hating on Twilight.
The books weren't that bad. But I'm also very easily amused.
I hear more about Twilight from Twilight haters than Twilight fans.
I'm tired of people who've never read the books being critics.
I'm tired of the hype about Twilight and Justin Bieber.

These are just two crappy bandwagons with the same bunch of damn people.

If you're not a fan then why are you upset?

Or even talking about him?

I think JB haters don't even have a reason to hate him. Chris Brown haters at least have a reason. I don't care about JB but I have no reason to hate him, simple as that.

haha. u know what i think xD i think they the hate the fans more than i think they hate the actual people itself

i mean when high school musical came out, everything became high school musical, when twilight came out, evrything became vampire-y stuff, when justin came out, heaps of singers that's similiar to him came out. because of demand by their adoring fans so in my opinion, they hate the fans, so they say they hate justin bieber and twilight just to piss them off as their form of sweet revenge for whats happening called "hype" about something they dont really care for. cuz after a while u get sick of the lack of originality and over-used-ness seing vampires on tv all the time.

i understand what your saying, but everyone must be tonedeff to think he sounds like a girl. theres a distinct difference between any guy voice and a girl voice, on baby when it starts I knew it was a boy, a young boy, but a boy.its ilke. Vic from pierce the veil has a higher voice than justin bieber ( hes in a rock band ) and no one says anything about that. personally i enjoy at least one song from every artist, and I dont think you should let your dislike for his other songs affect your judgement on his actually decent songs, the way if rebecca black made an amazing song that eveyrone loved it would still have more dislikes than likes solely because friday, and people clicking on the video just to dislike and be jaded. long t ypage. so no need to read

P.S theres no use in hating someone thats really a good person when you take the music out. people wishing to kill him and shit its no big deal, just either dont listen to him or do. i HAVE to since my sisters blast his music sometimes. Its sortve similair to the hate of lebron james, but i won't get into that. he's not the only person in the world who made a song you didnt like.

I'm neutral on Justin Bieber

That's exactly it. People hate the fans, not the cause. I hate Twilight FANS, because they don't shut up about how their boyfriend isn't perfect like Edward and all that stuff. Twilight, on the other hand, I can't hate, because I never saw it (though vampires should burn in sunlight, right? )

The fans kind of define what they like. If they are all whiny like in my example up there, it makes Twilight sound bad, so they say they hate something, but they hate the fans. Take us anime fans for example. We usually get hate because there's a lot of us that are hyperactive, and they blame the shows because "HOLY HELL A FLYING NINJA WITH A SWORD RIDING A WILD PIKACHU! XD But in our defense, that's more of a natural thing to us (At least in the people I know)
