They are questionable, but many of them are not evident enough to be true.

This topic occurred to me when I was talking to someone about the hidden symbols on the five dollar bill. Apparently if you fold it in a certain way you can see the burning twin towers. According to him, that was a good enough reason to believe that the government was behind 9/11. I think it's merely a coincidence since it clearly shows a picture of the Lincoln memorial.

Discuss conspiracy theories. Do you believes in them? What do you think about them?

I believe the term 'conspiracy theory' is a laughter curtain for people to dismiss alternative ideas regarding how modern political power expresses itself.

Do people with power and money conspire to make more power and money?
> Every day.

Do they do this alone, or with others?
> It's impossible alone, unless you're Zero or Kira.

But is it possible that illegal activities could take place in order to obtain said power and money? Even at the risk of public and environmental health?
> History shows us this is more of a norm than an exception.

Still, looking for patterns is dangerous because you'll always find them.

Conspiracy theories are exciting to read and ponder about, but sometimes they are way off.

An example could be the reptilian shape-shifter conspiracy theory. It's believable when you read and see proof videos, but when you really think about it's a little silly.

Not to mention the conspiracy theory that Paul McCartney is dead, and replaced by a look-a-like. Now that is just seeking attention.

Either way I have to admit I am a little suspicious of the whole 9/11 incident.

You! So you've been checking conspiracy theories instead of responding to my foolishness.

The only problem I have with conspiracy theories is the sheer unending abundance of them. Some could seem intriguing though they become a problem when they preoccupy a persons time. If it takes you away from doing decent things like being kind to your mother or helping out someone then it's not worth it. If it's your wish to preoccupy yourself with them firstly touch at home base and do that at your own leisure time. The endless possibilities are futile if you cannot assist or keep in mind other people.

95% of all conspiracies are bullshit its the other 5% that are often the least talked about and most hidden but also the most true

Conspiracy theories never seemed to grasp my interest. I personally find them annoying.

There are many things that are secrets and this is one of them. Let's leave it as what it is before you see the FBI infront of your door haha xD

The illuminati is real. Perhaps not all that bullshit about them being lizard people, but there's definitely a world government pulling everything, and killing celebrities when they've had enough of being controlled.

I'm not convinced. Some of the conspiracy theories seem to make sense at first glance, but given the alleged scale of the conspiracies I don't think they could be pulled off. At some point, at least one conspirator would decide they weren't getting their fair share of the wealth or power and managed to bugger it up through sheer greed, or something completely unexpected would happen that would throw the plans into disarray.

I also don't think that any organisation large enough to pull off a global conspiracy would be competent enough to do so.
