I love this episode to pieces. Plain brilliance. To tie all the different threads together in such a manner that would catch you off-guard. Bravo! I could relate to the central recurring theme of expectations so much. Satoshi, Kouchi and Jirou's sentiments tugged my heartstrings because I've felt their pain over the past two years. But I guess that's what makes life what is today.

Finally got the video to work and I've watched up through episode 13 so far. It's pretty good!
The first ending made me feel like this show isn't being aimed at me/my demographic. That's just an observation, it didn't stop me from watching obviously.
Chitanda is one of those idealized girls in anime, but she doesn't irritate me the way some others do. Houtarou irritated me at first with his boring attiude but luckily that didn't last. And surprisingly the way he likes Chitanda feels pretty natural, no over the top fanservice, which I like. Glad I picked it up.
