Anyway, so which group is the best to use for this animoo?
I've always thought Mazui did a better job than Commie and GG when it comes to fansubbing..
Not quite sure now.

GG's file size doesn't mean the file has better quality.

I went with Commie.

Hahaha I know this quite late considering the next episode will be out in less than 2 days.
Anyway, this was not my favorite opening but it did set-up the story properly. I very intrigued about Chitanda’s charm on Oreki. Chitanda is the splitting-image of Mio of K-ON. It's not a surprise since both animes are KyoAni works. Well, it’s nice to know their personalities are different despite having the same look. I like how Oreki reminds me of Okazaki of Clannad but is more the reserved side. As for the mysteries, its forming along well. It’s a lot better than the ones I’ve seen in Tasogare Otome x Amnesia. Regardless, this anime’s redeeming factor was it’s animation. Man, look at that fluid motion. Even if the background isn’t as flashy like the other animes, KyoAni made sure to enhance the very basics. Just wow, when they shifted to the watercolor scenes. Such a creative method for storytelling purposes.

I think it's more like gg > Mazui >/= Commie translation wise.

I have a lot of problems with the whole color metaphor in both gg's and Mazui's translations because the Western viewers won't immediately understand it. Commie's script does tone down the poetic verse of the line but it did help the viewer understand it quickly especially. It's still important to maintain accuracy for that line since it describes the main character.

TL;DR:

Commie for speed subs, Mazui for Japaneseness, and gg for understanding the show.

Episode 2

So, it's been about a month since the Classics Club has been reformed. Eru does to spice things up by doing some club activities. After all, what's a club without fun right?

And here she is, our fourth main character of the series, Mayaka Ibara:

There are some various clues that are presented in this episode as well as a delusion that played in Oreki's mind. After piercing the clues together from what they know, they concluded the theory that the book was being borrowed for this reason:

This was a rather easy mystery tbh. Anyways, somewhat interesting episode, especially the parts where you can use your brain to figure out the mystery before Oreki figures it out. Oreki vs YOU the viewer. Well, w/e, by the looks of things, it looks like an episodic series rather than a direct linear storyline. I'm looking forward to what happens next though.

finally something at 23:30

and then sigh it is about something for the rest of the anime

btw anyone else like the ending not so much the music but the two high school 2d girls in seductive clothing as well poses? I also like the astronomy aspect as well.


I can't say I like the anime, I can't say I hate the anime; this is the type of anime you watch and kinda don't feel much but you're not going to drop it but you'll watch it.
