Agreed. Some of that stuff is borderline art, man.

It truly is a heart wrenching struggle between a helpless, but defiant, victim and their overpowering foe. A perfect picture of human defiance and perseverance in the face of adversity.

I view it more as a study in submission, honestly. It's kinda alien S&M in mentality, IMO. The shift from fear and fight to submitting, etc. I will say, tho, not a fan of the mahou shoujo genre you see alongside it a lot. Not sure why. Probly b/c I'm a huge fan of that genre and I don't like mixing them, lol.

Mahou Shoujo is S&M?

Honestly, the only one I've watched is Madoka, and I don't think that really counts.

There are girl otakus that are deeply into yaoi mangas and Light novels. But they're usually too far and in between to notice. I know a cute girl at college who loves anime just is shy and hates talking to others about it.

The problems are:

1. You all care way to much about the opinion of other people. (People you dont even know)

2. You all make a way to big thing out of this and make it seem like watching anime is something special. If you wouldnt treat it as something special, other people would never say something unpleaseant.

The Otaku community is probably split into a 50/50 Male/female rate. < Why should someone care about that?

and... why is it that bad to be fat? I dont really get it... they are very important. After all, if the zombie apocalypse happens, they all will be good sacrifices.

Despite this post quite clearly being trollbait...

1. It's a forum broski

2. Since when did I make it a big deal?

3. ...Seriously?
