I may be traveling anytime soon and would like to know of any recommended/suggested attractions/theme parks worth visiting in your region and why?
Thank you in advance for all your delightful replies! Moderator edit: This thread is fine, as long as people keep discussing attractions and theme parks ~AHTL |

Florida - Universal Studios Islands of Adventure.
That's it. Disneyworld is lame. |

Well, there's Alton Towers in England... but it's not that great.
Best theme park I've been to is Port Aventura in Spain. |

In Epcot there's a few more places to drink but in the not-so-magic kingdom the mouse is still enforcing prohibition. At universal the beer may be a tad expensive but it flows continuously. |

Well if you ever come to the United Kingdom and want to see theme parks the biggest ones are Thorpe Park just outside London (and the best one might I add) and Alton Towers which is in Gloucestershire I think. Amazing white knuckle rides! Thorpe Park is the best! There's also Oakwood in Wales which has a ride called Speed which is epic! You ascend vertically and descend a massive slope with is slightly more than vertical and its cheek-flappingly fast

I use this site to help me find new places when I travel. Many coaster reviews, but also general reviews of parks around the world given by real people.

Any other attractions or theme parks in England? And Spain sounds like a wonderful, fun place to go. I personally think that England is quite a rubbish place to visit. But I guess there's a few pretty looking places, like Fountain Abbey, or other National Trust places. But that's only really for people that are into that kind of thing. Errr, London? People seem to like London. I don't know why. You could go see the Queens house o.0 As for theme parks, there's Cheesingtons and B-something, but I think Alton towers is the biggest one. I think. Spain, on the other hand, is a much better place to go visit. |

pinkrusse. Do yourself a favour and read the rules.
I'm not in the mood to edit your posts, and double+triple posting is against the rules. Your thread even breaks the rule about "no personal threads", but I'm being nice and letting it exist because people might discuss cool theme parks. |
