Neither do you.

I've thought that to, the point of our existence. I don't think about it much since it leads to more questions.
I think more about why many individuals in the human race do the acts they do.

Humanity continues to survive by continually contradicting itself, at least in my opinion, as no one
person is right and knows exactly what they are talking about, for all we know the answers
could be simple or something that is completely beyond human comprehension, so we will
continue our writhing existence until we kill each other, get blown up or reach an end, or just go
into infinite.

Procreation doesn't make sense? Have you not had sex education yet? Were you talking about the reasons for it? Because all the other animals do it to carry on their species, so it makes sense that we would.

Stop experimenting with Gin, you fat nigga.

We do not have any goals, we set them. It does not bother me that I don't know everything about my existence and universe. Why should it? We believe in unbelievably stupid things such as "Einstein failed math", "the blood is blue", and "Columbus discovered that the world is spherical." Those are the first that came to my mind, but there are a lot more. If we do not know even extremely simple things, we cannot expect to know complicated things such as the meaning of life. The world and life completely make sense to me.

Yep it doesn't make any sense. Like how come the world have to start? If so.. What was before the start? Everything in a shell of nothing? and if everything does that mean everyhing is nothing in a bigger format? If there even is a definition of finity?

Edit: Oh and cheers to everyone out there

You have to make it make sense then. There's obviously no answer to what you mentioned, but HEY, make the best of it!
Posted 4/24/12

Life has no meaning nor purpose.

You design your own purpose in living whatever that may be. The only way to figure out whether there is something like a greater power is to explore all there is to be learned in life and the universe around us. Then we must take the leap of death and discover if there is anything or not, however, there in lies various problems. You can't be reanimated to sharing your findings, who knows if you even maintain a consciousness as independent existence post-death, etc. Don't fixate on the things you can't possibly understand or know.
If you are looking for a greater entity begin with encouraging renewed respect for this planet. The Earth and the Sun are the closest entities to gods. Without the Earth's atmosphere we would all be dead right now, we are born from the land and we survive on it before returning from whence we came in death. There are countless things to believe in and create purpose for yourself.

I'm not religious since I believe their all crap. Just as major religions like Shintoism, Christianity, Judiasm, Islam, Buddhism, etc. all arose over the course of centuries they simply replaced various Pagan religions before them. Before that you had greater belief in magics, read Sir James Frazer's "The Golden Bough" for further details in regard to anthropology in this specific context. We cannot prove or disprove these things since there is no way to know with our current understanding of existence.
Worry about your own life and what you want it to be then wait until death take you and the possibility of knowing is available. There is no better advice I can give you. Do as you like I won't judge nor force you to believe in anything you do not want to. Just don't delude yourself using magic, religion, or science as parts of your beliefs since they are all flawed in some regard or another.

I think it depends on what means by "makes sense," since this world was created through the power of gradual randomness.

I'm not much of a forum poster but this topic looked interesting and I wanted to see what everyone wrote. I don't plan on reading any responses to this post.

What purpose does the world exist?(modified question a little) This would be a simple question for me to answer and that would be to worship and/or glorify God. We were created for the purpose of that alone. The entire physical universe, meaning atoms, energy, light, etc exists because God created them. The reason for evolution to not exist in terms of the bible in one way is because of Jesus Christ. If you don't know who that is then I recommend looking it up because he is the central focus of the entire bible from old(points to) to new(life of) testaments. If any form of Christianity doesn't recognize him as God then quickly leave the scene. Jesus Christ is the only means for us to be forgiven of our sins, no work in any other form (unless you are perfect like he was) can get you to heaven.

Christianity is not a religion but a way of life which is what the opening post was about. To say it is a religion is to say it is about something other than Christ. If you were to take out Christ then Christianity wouldn't exist.

P.S.

To the OP, you are right the world makes no sense whatsoever if you remove the creation aspect from it. Right and wrong become a figment of your imagination that can be manipulated without any consequence outside of a society of laws. For the better of mankind? That is a ridiculous and foolish if I can use the term because if God doesn't exist you should be out living for yourself and taking advantage of anyone you can. Continue to live in whatever way you like if you decide not to believe in God. I didn't get into what happens if you don't believe in Jesus Christ but I'm done.
