My friend told me he buys a bunch of manga from amazon.jp. He knows japanese so it's fine for him. I bought a bunch of manga as well as those volume latest chapter ones that the manga publishing company puts out while living in Japan. I learned at least beginner intermediate so I can read most of them. The ones I can't I leave alone till I can or make out the word till I get to a character I don't recognize and look it up. I see it as an investment in my multi-language studies

Light novels are tougher, not many pictures to help but I love them. Settings need to be described, can't rely on expressions for emotions. |
