No it's not. It's a stupid system cooked up by two renegade priests who brought misery and devastation to a large percentage of the global population and only failed because of the vigilance of the West and the realisation that the only benefit it provides were for those high-up in the Communist hierarchy. There were no Chinese Whites but the Russian White Army kept up a valiant resistance for four years. And think about all the priceless art/architecture that was destroyed or wound up in the homes of the Politburo. In neither case did they wind up in the homes of the Russian poor, or be rendered useful to them.

My silverware looked bright and shiny at first, but after being used for it quickly tarnished.

Just like Communism.

I went through the cupboard and dug out the flatware. After I sorted out which came from where I printed some forms and tried to get ALL the flatware to agree and sign off that this inquisition in no way insulted their sense of being nor was it intended to become an instrument of distrust and disdain once those from China were sequestered. Well, while solidarity may not exist in humankind it sure does in flatware as no one made any attempt other than a few dissident knives that knew what it took to be a cut above the rest. Sadly, I was unable to cipher their markings to determine intent. As I didn't wish for this "sort" to become another Gore-Bush hanging chad fiasco I chose to ignore the ramblings of the dissident few figuring time alone incarcerated in the utensil drawer would eventually dim their point to a moot one.

Once sorted those who claimed to be made in China were asked about their belief system. I didn't hear 1 response. OK, I thought, in fairness maybe they want me to form a committee of my peers for this review. So I went out into the neighborhood seeking members for this committee. All I got were smirks, stares, glares. Hmmm, these stupid committees always get volunteers in anime shows, what gives??

I returned home, played local politico, and outright lied to my chosen flatware constituency hoping they would placate their initial fears of mistrust and give me what I wanted: their truth, their belief system extolling the virtue of all they intrinsically hold dear. Sad to say, the results bore no fruition. The forks were not amused. I flung them in the air as punishment for their silence hoping to stun the remaining population into obedient submission. Those frekkin' forks: so loyal, so clever. All they did was whistle Dixie while displacing air at great velocity before bouncing off the kitchen wall. And all the knives and spoons did was deflect. As I stared at them intently all I saw was my own reflection of benign disappointment. Their remarkable silent resilience to anticipated torture spoke volumes.

I'm in the process of mailing out requests to several dictatorial countries and entities (this includes the White House, IRS, Dept. of Justice, establishment Republicans entrenched since Christ's 1st Coming) asking for assistance. I doubt anyone will reply very soon but if and when they or he/she/it do I am almost 100% positive the paper the dictums are printed or written on will be "made in China". Ne pas?

My silverware weren't bought, they were Stalin. Nobody knows about it because I drew distinguishing Marx on them.

I understand the question. I prefer to live in a system which doesn't punish people for being wealthy and/or intelligent, a system which actually cares about people and doesn't bind them in chains of everlasting misery. After all, there are four problems with the Soviet agricultural system: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Plus, read Jerry Ahern's The Survivalist. If you can still agree with the retarded Communist system after that...
