This may seem a little strange, but I was looking at all the forums of all the sites I belong to, and thought I might try this just for the heck of it...

This may interest one of you doctor types if you happen to see this.

I have a medical condition or at least what you would call a birth defect that affects less then 5% of the entire worlds population and thought I would try and find someone else who has this or knows someone who has this. I personally have not found anyone yet myself.

It's called Agenesis of the Corpus Collosum. Anyone who might want to look it up would find a pretty interesting read, but the short version is... the corpus collosum is the horseshoe shaped nerve bundle located in the frontal lobe of the brain that connects the left and right side of the brain, I was born without one, which basically means it never developed before birth. It can only be seen with an MRI and I didnt even know about it till I was 26 years old and I am currently 41.

It's not life threatening or anything like that, but it's also not very easy to live with and was only able to find a way to cope with after I understood what it actually was.

I know my chances of actually finding someone else with this condition is slim, and I also understand that people may not want to announce thier medical condtions on a public forum, but as I said up top, I have yet to find anyone else with this, and figured this was as good a shot as any to try

Thanks for your time (and your patience if you actually managed to read this entire thing)

also apoligize in advance if this is not proper forum material....

You tell us this but don't actually explain how it effects you, would probably help people relate to you and your story better, how does it effect your daily life? Does it stop you from doing certain things in your life that you wish you could?

Most people don't want to open another browser and google, thus wont reply, nor know if they could have the same condition as you!

What does it mean to have this condition? Why do you want to find other people with it?

Ok....

If you wikepedia it, it lists the most notable case as Kim Peek, who was the inspiration for the movie Rain Man if that helps any, and the reason I didnt list any affects is because to me they are normal , daily life experiences, so what's normal for me won't be normal for pretty much anyone else.

I listed the defect itself, if your interested enough, go ahead and google it, if not well, then there's a pretty good chance that you probably arent or dont know anyone with this birth defect. And for all intensive purposes just plain lazy...

I've lead a fairly normal life, spent 7 years in the U.S. Army and only learned about this after I had an MRI scan done of my head after an injury.

I won't go deep into some of the other things due to the fact that the average person would likely call me insane or a complete flake, I'll just say this... I'm like a magnet for spirit energy, I can find em, communicate with them and in some cases, pacify them. I have an absolute core belief that what i can do should never under any circumstance be used for personal or monitary gain so this will probably be the only time anyone ever see me say this and i only deal with spirits that come to me, I dont go out activly seeking confrontations with them. I've dealt with some extremly violent and nasty things.

And for all I know and this is only a nagging feeling, the only reason I felt compelled to post about this is that someone who might happen to read this has a problem I need to be involved in....
