What the topic says, really!

I have auto-posting to facebook enabled, and I've noticed recently that most of the time when I watch something it posts to my facebook timeline twice.

Just for the record, I mostly watch Crunchyroll on my Roku.

Does it start and then go back and have to reload at all?
It's supposed to only post once 30 seconds of video has been played. *rubs chin*

Hmm, not really! Once in a while there'll be a connection issue and it'll stop to buffer a bit, that's about it.

I've also noticed that sometimes it doesn't record the watch at all. Weird! D:

Interesting.

I'll shoot a note over to the development team to ask if they can take a look into this.

Is there any chance they can bring back the manual 'share on facebook' button? I prefer that to auto-updates since it's more reliable (and doesn't end up posting multiple times if you have connection troubles)!

Right, just an update, I've noticed it's still double-posting everything I watch to facebook. Help! D:

Any particular device where this is happening, or is it all devices?

It seems to be happening with pretty much everything. It's happened with my laptop, iPhone and Roku. I'd say it seems more prevalent on Roku, but then that's probably just because I watch on there the most.

Development team is currently looking into this.
Can you tell me if (when it double posts) it is one immediately after another, or does it seem to wait before posting again?

Just checked, both posts seem to be within a minute of each other, when I start watching.

Can you please try to get your account to post twice watching a show on PC & on your iOS Device?
Once you have gotten it to do this, can you please let me know what show & episode you were watching when this happened?

This will help us verify things on our side.

I'm in bed now, but I can confirm that it double-posted to Facebook when I watched today's new episode of SKET Dance earlier on a PC at around 12:30PM GMT.

I just tried watching episode 1 of Gintama on my phone now and it doesn't seem to have double posted, although it definitely has in the past with iOS.

Development is seeing nothing on our side that would be causing the double posts. Also, we haven't had any other reports of this.

Can you please try disabling the feature then reenabling it to see if that resolves the issue?

If it does not, you may just want to disable it completely.

Sorry!
