I think by now everybody knows just how expensive it is to license One Piece. Funimation mentioned it many times. So maybe Crunchyroll is having trouble with the licensing or they can get it, but it's too expensive and since Funimation already has the simulcast Crunchyroll doesn't feel the need to simulcast it themselves. Maybe it's the same with Toriko. I want One Piece on Crunchyroll because I want to watch it legally in HD. Right now there is no way to do that. In my opinion it's better to watch One Piece on One Piece official and not on Hulu. Hulu posts the episode after 5 days of the air date I believe. On One Piece official it's just after 2 hours and you can use an ad-block add-on if you are using Firefox and you will not see ads. The ad-block software doesn't work with Hulu so if you want to watch it legally without ads use the software and watch it before they put it on Hulu.

Member Greylurker 59778 cr points Send Message: 40 / M / Canada Online	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 9/13/12 One Piece official is pretty much were I've been watching it. 3 episodes of One Piece(1 new and 2 old), Fairy Tail and Hunter x Hunter finishes off my Saturday night every week these days. It would cost CR quite a bit to get it here even if they could cut a deal similar to the one with Fairy Tail on Funi's side of things they probably know they would loose some viewership to CR if they did let them show it (probably quite a bit. Better video quality is a pretty big draw) and that would cut their advertising dollars.

The old eps are basically Funi setting up their next DVD release, so it has been pretty cool. They just finished the Davy Back Fight and right now it's the middle of a filler story about the crew getting their memories stolen from them. I've been watching the 2 newly released old episodes first, then the New episode, then Fairy Tail and then Hunter It's well past midnight by the time I finish but I love my late night Saturday anime.

I'm not planning on watching this arc again. Reading it once in the manga and watching it once in the anime is enough for me! Except maybe I'll re-read/watch the Fisher Tiger flashback, and just watch clips of the Strawhats' new abilities. Also damn Red Hawk is censored in the anime! It was OK for Akainu to punch a hole through Ace a little over a year ago, but apparently now it's not OK for Luffy to punch a hole through Hody's chest.
