Now all that's left for One Piece is to break DB's worldwide record of 350 million copies.

kinda doubt this will happen lol...dbz is still popular after all these years

One Piece became the fastest manga to sell 100 million copies so it could possibly happen.

why the animation quality has dropped so much ?

It went up since Marineford imo, but it was kinda crappy between Shabondy Archipelago and Impel

Also the pacing could be better imo

It's because of how slow it goes.... We waited 7 days for single slow slow slow pace episode of Remembering some one who did something...

Now that I think about it, I don't think we've seen an old mermaid other than her (unless you count Otohime as old). Also about the interview with Oda, he said that Marineford was just a "side trip" and he didn't expect it to be this popular.

Here are screenshots of the interview if you're interested:

Side trip he says?
That was like the highlight of the anime!

Oh Oda, you're such a God. Lol.

And thanks for the link.
This should be an interesting read.

Although I only ever got to watch a few episodes, I loved what I saw. If anyone @ Crunchyroll reads this, please try to get rights for shows like one peice and fullmetal alchemist.
Also, the character designs are awesome. Not so generic yet not so weird. Just perfect.

I want to watch One Piece episodes in HD legally, but Funimation has the rights for the simulcast so it's doubtful that it's going to happen. The only way right now to watch them in HD is via fansubs.
It's good to know that you're enjoying the series. One Piece is one of those series that gets better as it continues.

Updated and added this as well:

Japan's Weekly Manga Rankings for Apr 30 - May 6

Hopefully volume 66 will outsell volume 64 and if everything goes smoothly, also volume 65.
Though this is already great news! It outsold volume 65 (1,934,961) and 64's (2,018,336) first week sales.

It's a good sign!

Such a dedicated fan.

I'm so glad we have a lot of supporters outside Japan!
Keep those numbers rising!
