I'm a mommy of a 3 1/2 year old little boy and I have enjoyed anime since I was a teenager. It's not like I'm going to turn off the things I enjoy just because I gave birth. I also enjoy manga and Kdrama and my husband loves American comic books, so the poor child doesn't stand a chance! He already shows interest in Kids on the Slope and will sit down and pretend to read my manga. Makes a mommy proud. Haha!

I'm a parent and I love anime (action, mecha, fantasy) and read manga on a regular basis. I have a 15 year old daughter who is into Dr. Who and Video Games so it all balances out just fine. Since I teach fashion, graphic design and character design, this to me is just another extension of creative work and i love it.

FueledbyRamen has no clue, adults create publish and produce this stuff.

This. I don't really get why it would be weird for an adult to like anime, especially considering there is anime specifically marketed toward adults.

My kids also enjoy anime. My five year old has unintentionally learned some Japanese from sitting with me while I watch my shows. He'll use it at random and I am always a bit taken aback(because it's certainly NOT something I do). haha I don't really care if they continue to like it as they get older. We live pretty balanced lives, so it's not of any importance.

When I find my future wife and become a parent.. I will be a parent who likes anime and can destroy his kids in videogames. Yes I will.
