Why?! It's prom!

I've been wondering why that's an effective argument every time i hear it. I don't get it, what's the big deal?

I didn't go to my graduation either. Would have been a waste of time and money. I also don't regret it at all. It just isn't as important as people make it out to be.

That's pretty much my exact reasons for skipping both, to be honest. I'm really glad I skipped graduation too because it ended up pouring down rain that day and they were holding it outside.

I didn't even bother getting the details for when and where it was going to happen so I have no clue what kind of day it ended up being. I didn't even plan on going to pick up my diploma. I was just going to wait and see if they would end up mailing it to me. Parents didn't like that much though and went and got it for me >_>

I wish I hadn't gone.
It was boring, they played bad music, the teachers insured that the punch bowl wasn't spiked and my date did nothing but complain.
Me and my friends camped out on the beach afterward however, and that was awesome.

All year there were graduation meetings for seniors and I didn't go to a single one. I think I probably had to ask someone what day it was because I wanted to make plans to go to Orlando that day instead. High school was the bane of my existence, so if I didn't have to go, I wasn't going to. I think I even had my mom go pick my diploma up for me since she worked right by my school. It's nice knowing I'm not the only person who's skipped out~

The excitement leading up to prom was the best part. The actual event was tiring, my heels were killing me, and the food was bad.

I have not gone to a school dance and will not be going to Prom. It's just utterly over-rated, and the majority of kids suck almost as bad as the music selection.
