War has finally begun. So what do you think of the animation, story line or details about the War?
Is there going to be fillers or not?

Leave your thoughts below

First off, I'll just summarise the strengths of both sides:

Allied Shinobi Forces:

80,000 Shinobi & Samurai arranged into separate divisions based on techniques and styles
Jinchuuriki: Naruto & Killer B (Confined)

Akatsuki:

100,000 White Zetsu
Several resurrected Shinobi and controlled via Edo Tensei (Impure World Resurrection) composed of former Jinchuuriki, dead Kages and Akatsuki members as well as several other notable/famous/infamous Shinobi

I think these massive scale Animations look weird, and don't quite fit in with the 'cartoon-style' that we're used to, but it's unavoidable really. I can imagine that these animations took a lot of time to put together (some are still probably being worked on), hence the mini-filler series was implemented, as well as to ensure the Anime doesn't catch up to the Manga.

About time. I hope everything goes according to the manga and added details. I read somewhere before that there were some characters (most likely just minor and obscure) that Kabuto bought back that were not in the manga.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was true. I reckon I know of one filler character that has been resurrected. A female...

I think there will be a few fillers here and there for tension relief because the war gets pretty intense. i also agree with JCossey; the fight between naruto and sasuke will determine the fate of the war's outcome and the shinobi world.

i hope they didn't ressurect jiraiya with the forbidden jutsu you know how cruel that would be for naruto then again kabuto is a cruel person so it wouldn't surprise me lol i will say one thing if they do it would make a interesting fight and give jiraiya a chance to see how much his pupil has grown since his death since they seem to have the persons soul in the body they are just bound to the jutsu user

I thought the animation in the latest episode (265 I think) was pretty good. It reminded me of how the good parts of the original Sasuke vs Deidara fight looked as well as some of the fillers like the one were Temari fought Konohamaru. The next episode looks like it will have good animation as well. I hope they keep it up. A lot of the fights in this war were pretty lame in the manga and the anime versions will live or die by how nice the animation is to make them interesting.

I hope they keep the quality up and it isn't case where they're kicking off the arc strong but then are going to goto the mediocre to crap quality.

Since that Naruto can control the power of kyuubi I'm excited to see him in action.

I'm STOKED to see what all of the ninja are capable of! Especially Naruto and Sakura.. Haven't seen either of them use their new strengths. Anxious of how it's going to turn out! I hope they can make Sasuke change his mind..

263 was a good episode. I remember thinking that these zombies getting talked out of being bad guys was the lamest way to possibly end a fight, but with music, voice acting and animation it turned out a lot better than I thought possible.

The only time they've made Sakura decent was episode 26. She has atrophied to an insane degree since then and I honestly think the writer simply forgot about the massive leap and skill and talent she was given. She's not even 10% as good as she was then.

I disagree. You have to realise that Sakura is a medic and it's not really a good idea for her to jump into every battle that comes up in missions. She needs to stay alive and save her chakra for healing wounded comrades. Think about it, she's often working with a Jinchuuriki, a Jonin with an inherited Sharingan, a wood-style user and a fairly versatile fighter/scout with the use of ink techniques. It just wouldn't make sense to have her fighting. The fact that she fought Sasori at all was a mere fluke. Kishi's attempted to work around this and still give her some character development, but it always seems like she's not developed as much as others.

Anyway, I think I should just point out that the flashback between Sai and Shin in this episode was a filler scene, and the Anime team did a pretty damn good job I think. This is the kind of filler scenes I've been hoping for. Hopefully, they'll continue to provide good quality filler scenes like that on top of the canon because Kishi hasn't been able to cover all of the fights that occur as much as I felt they should have been. The Anime team could make fillers that add in the bits that are missed out. Kishimoto's problem is that he's coming up with this whole war and exhibiting the various battles, but he still wanted to keep the story flowing somewhat so he has to cut stuff short from what I can see.

They've still made her a joke imo She went from dancing around 100 puppets and beating the crap out of them in hand to hand to getting dropped immediately by people like Killer Bee's lackies and others. She doesn't have to be in every fight, I've never said that, but I wonder when she is in combat or in combat situations she doesn't have to get made a fool out of in an instant. They gave her skills far higher than that and then completely removed them and took her back to series one where she peaked at biting someone while getting punched in the head.
