I've been a premium member for the last few months. Last month I lost my debit card, and had to cancel it. I ordered a new debit card from the bank, but I have yet to receive it. The problem was that the bank had mistaken my address not once, but 3 times. The reason was that I live in apartments that require a PO box address and apartment number.

I had my paypal linked to both my checking and debit, but no longer my debit. It is stilled linked to my checking account. The problem is when I try to renew my account, pay pal asks me to input a credit/debit card info. I haven't received my new debit card yet, and thus I can't add it to my paypal.

Is it possible to send the money to an official paypal account to renew my account? I plan on getting my debit card before next month.

Doubt it. You'd probably have better luck making an online payment straight from your bank account to CR. But you'd have to ask CR about it first. But by the look I doubt you have one.

Ask a friend or family member to open a CR account and buy you a gift subscription (just under your profile pic in your profile). That should be the most hassle free solution.

Paypal would never accept what you're proposing btw. For all I know CR would be far more likely to accept a postal check.

I mean an official CR paypal. I can log into paypal, click send money, and type CR's paypal-email. They see the receipt in their paypal info, and they can manually upgrade my account.

Even though paypal uses your card's number?

If you have access to your new card's number just use that to pay CR?

Buy yourself a small gift card from your local grocery store with cash then gift yourself a month membership.

I'm getting a new card number. I had to report the card lost, and they had to cancel it. I hope to get it in a week. If not, I guess I wont be watching anime right away.

I'll be lucky to find a local store that sells CR cards..

It seems the word gift has confused you. Get a *Prepaid Credit Card sometimes called a gift card from the grocery store. After purchasing go to http://www.crunchyroll.com/premium_membership_gift?src=bottombar and use the system they have in place to purchase a gift membership and send it to yourself. You should be able to get one for what ever amount you want 5,10, 15, 800, 1000$ and it is not for any specific company you can use it anywhere.

*Prepaid "credit" cards

A prepaid credit card is not a true credit card, since no credit is offered by the card issuer: the card-holder spends money which has been "stored" via a prior deposit by the card-holder or someone else, such as a parent or employer. However, it carries a credit-card brand (such as Discover, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or JCB etc.) and can be used in similar ways just as though it were a regular credit card. Unlike debit cards, prepaid credit cards generally do not require a PIN. An exception are prepaid credit cards with an EMV chip. These cards do require a PIN if the payment is processed via Chip and PIN technology

Unfortunately we don't have a direct account you can send payments to.

What I would do is go into your account on PayPal and make sure that everything is cancelled/finished for your prior subscription.

Then take the following steps to make sure your account is set up to allow recurring payments on your checking account

Log into Pay Pal.
Under "My Account" click on "Profile".
Under "Profile" click on "My Money".
Under "My Money" click on "My Preapproved Payments".
From here you can set what sources you will allow to pay for subscriptions such as Crunchyroll.

If this doesn't work, please let me know.
