I scored 18158. I wonder how off my score would be if i had counted all my manga and stuff instead of estimating?

It's a hustle, they get you in there and charge for the seat, the cookies and the drinks while your cute and bubbly maid asks for drinks too. Pads your check. Now in a piano bar you could pay thousands, after service charge and 6 drinks I paid around $50. Most stores are off street level so they need catchers on the street to bring people up. I was led by the catcher from just outside the train station about three blocks to the bar. Akihabara is crawling with girls looking to get you into one of these places. $50 for 6 drinks!!!! I hope that was liquor or wine ..... It might be worth it just for the experience but damn ..... how do they get regulars? LOL |

I calculated 4,100 points. I've never considered myself an otaku; just someone who enjoys hanging around the anime/manga community.

I was drinking shochu, kind of a Japanese vodka. |

Ok. probably would have been totally worth it and 5$ for shochu? notbad. So if you were to only get two drinks it would have been 30$ to see vampire maids and get a drink? Very cool. Did they let you relax or were they trying for a high turn out rate? (meaning - fill the seats with as many new people as possible) I heard it varies (for maid cafes) so now I am curious. >.< |
