How do you feel about people staring at you?
Posted 8/22/12
I only get annoyed when i'm waiting because I get conscious. When someone stares at me for a considerable amount of time I think "What could they possibly be staring at?" Am I good looking? Am I ugly? Is there something you want to ask me? Don't stare at me if you're not going to speak to me. Then I go back to screwing at the person making me wait. I HATE WAITING!

Well it depends, if its for a prolonged period of time, I eventually stare back and give the hint off as "...yes?" that usually does the trick. I pretty much give what I get. In the gym I get a lot of aggressive stares...and..well if I feel like there are holes being burned into the back of my head or I see someone starting, again, I return it. Depending on the situation is more about acknowledgement for me than anything..well if I choose to, lol.

Well it depends. Sometimes I bat my eyes at them and do the "come here" motion with my finger while licking my lips regardless of gender.
If it's a kid I make funny faces at them. Or if it's someone that rubs me the wrong way I pretend to call someone on my phone and say, "You are not going to believe this but there has been a creepy individual staring at me for a while now." Then I would pretend to listen for a bit and say, "So there is a serial rapist around these parts? Hold on and let me take a picture of the person so you can see if it looks like him." Then I would flip my phone around and take several pictures of them. Works like a charm.

haha guess it'd depend who is staring. I don't really get stared at much by adults cause people find me intimidating (kinda wish they didn't). I did have it once when I was 18 in a elevator when this oldish guy was staring at me, turned out he was trying to figure out how old I was cause I was really big but had a baby face. I do get kids stare at me all the time though I just smile at them and then carry on with whatever I'm doing.

Often I don't care about people staring at me but if it becomes really annoying I just start to stare back at them and give them a little wink with my eyebrow that tells "What are you staring at?, stop it!"

I agree. Either that happens or they get scared when I stare back.

I don't like when people stare at me. :P

Which reminds me... I'm from Finland, where people won't give any eye contact at all (well, yeah, but if you pass someone on the street, you won't stare the other one in the eye). I was travelling around the UK with my backpack for a month this July and felt really, really freaked out because of how british people "stare" at you. After travelling for two weeks I finally realized that it's because of tthe culture.

Mind you, guess who was obsessed with mirror and stressing for the first two weeks, because I seirously thought that somehing was wrong with me because of their staring or observing (how one American girl kindly said XD). Seriously, you don't want to even know how many times I changed my sitting place there because I thought that I shouldn't have sat there.

I flip them off

It's easy to ignore them unless they come up to me and start trying to flirt in very obvious and bad ways.

Still, it makes me uncomfortable when they have the same eyes as a starving person staring at a plate of food.

It depends, the majority of the time though it's uncomfortable.

I've had girl wink at me, bite their lips, lick their lips and all sorts of awesome things which I am fine with, but it's a rare occurrence.

Random dudes staring me down, trying to stare into my eyes, staring at me until I look at them then sizing me up like they want to start something. Awkward, uncomfortable, highly annoying and may result in a headbutt if they are doing this in my personal space.

You're ripped man, they probably just feel threatened that you're in their "territory" and need to exude that alpha male thing.

It's stupid really, just let the the woman make their choice, right?

I don't focus on bringing another guy's game down, just focus on bringing mine up.
