Should teenagers or people from 13-20 have life sentenced to jail because there are a lot of states who have this. so basically do you think this is fair?

I'm not sure when it comes to individuals 17 and up I guess it depends on what crime they committed. but with children under 17, I don't think so. They need to give a child counseling or something, to see why they did the actions they done instead of locking them away. This is how I personally feel though.

When you're 13 you're old enough to realize the bad things you've done; but I disagree with a life sentence for those that young. *pokes above* counseling is what should be done.

Sure, I think it would be a pretty good idea if some teenager were sentenced for life if he/she decided to go on a killing spree or something like that. It would be pretty hard, if not impossible, to reform a murderer even as a teenager. I think the Alyssa Bustamante incident does a pretty good job supporting my point of view.
