Once you start to understand people, you stop trying to express your own ego in conversation. It's best to be complimentary, self-defecating and agreeable. I'll correct a student, but not individuals. There's no point, you can't educate people who aren't ready for it. Hell, you can hardly educate people who have paid you thousands of dollars to educate them. It's not often that the average person is open to learning. So just smile and be nice, it costs nothing and always earns rewards.
They won't remember what you say, but they'll always remember how you made them feel.

No there was no point. I've went to schools where everyone knew eachother pretty well. There weren't no popular groups or crowds. I was just myself and thats how I made good friends. That's the best way to go anyway  |

popular...I was known by everyone in my highschool because I was loud as hell and a big guy, we were only like 120 students of my grade so we knew each other pretty well...I think I was intimidating younger folks without noticing it
