Default Video Quality:
SD

Works fine without premium membership (defaults to SD)
But with premium membership, defaults to 1080p

Any way to have a Default Video Quality AND a Default Premium Membership Video Quality?

Go to your settings. (Drop-down menu from that head next to the top-right search bar)
Under account settings select Video Preferences.
There you can set what your default video quality should be.

Try changing it to something else (i.e., 480p or 720p), playing a bit of a video to confirm that change "took", and if it did, then change it back to SD.

In some cases, a system can show you are on one setting while internally it has another registered. Changing it to something different gets things back in sync.

Ok, that worked. I guess whenever you get membership it sets it to 1080p internally. I just hope this is the only time I have to set it that way.

Correct!

It's kind of the 'You just upgraded from SD to 1080pppppppp'
Which is not necessarily always the best because of age of a computer / internet connection / etc.

It's something I'm hoping we can address!
