Been a paid member for a long time and I'm finally confessing my ignorance and frustration. How can I search for SUBBED anime and avoid DUBBED anime? I'm constantly seeing a new title and getting excited, not finding out that it's dubbed until I start watching. I don't see any labels anywhere to help me and I really want to watch more different anime, not just the new or popular series that get listed on the main page when I log in.

Please don't diss my preference... I just prefer watching foreign films, not only anime, in the original language and that's why I'm a CR member. Isn't there a way to do an advanced search, or tell in advance? I hop I'm just missing something REALLY obvious. *sigh*

The list of dubbed anime at CR is rather short. I've seen requests like this in the past, but those were from people wanting to find dubbed anime, not avoid it. The answer, however, is the same. At present, there is apparently no ready way to identify dubbed series.

It would be nice if CR would adopt TAN's system of color codes. If you view their alphabetical list, you'll note it has one color dot for dubs, another for subs, and another if the series is available in HD for subscribers. Even just adding "(D)" after titles that have a dub (and "(S)(D)" after a title that has both, like Code Geass) would be helpful.

There may be more though.

That said I'm wanting to work with the design team to come up with a better way to indicate dubs and subs.

Just for the record, Code Geass has both dubbed and subbed episodes, the latter which would be pertinent to kagekara, who was looking to avoid dubbed episodes.

Dont worry, prefer subbed also. My ears cringe when i accidentally watch dubbed (there are a few title I do prefer dubbed though. Ghost Hunt is one of them)
