Did you ever just stop shopping b/c a song come on that you hate in the store and you had to leave?

I am asking this b/c me and my friend saw 2 girls leave the store in the mall just b/c of a song that they hate come on in the store When the song came on that they hated they said ("omg this stupid gay song is on and I hate her singing lets get out of this store") The song that came on was- Set Fire to the Rain by Adele So they just left everything they were about to get and left just like that. They had to be about 16-18 years old

So have you ever just left a store b/c a song you really hate come on? Did you ever seen anyone just stop shopping b/c of this?

That's why ear plugs are great.

That song has been so overplayed that it burns my ears too. If you see Adele in an interview she is one of the mouthiest celebs ever, she seems sweet and innocent because of that voice but you're so wrong. She sounds like an East-end gangster speaking normally.

Anyway. No I have not done that because when I want something no force on earth can stop me getting those shoes!!

People are strange, each have their own preferences. They sounded like spoiled drama queens that needed extra attention than they were giving each other or have really bad taste in music.

In my opinion, Adele, besides her personality and celeb life, is actually one of the only young and truly talented singers out there. I rarely listen to the radio but a few days ago, discovered her songs playing on the radio and I really enjoyed listening to it.

When I don't enjoy listening to a song or gossip, I am able to just block it out. Comes with practice overtime.

I never just stop shopping like that b/c of a song was kinda shock to see how fast they left do to a song When a song or some kind of music starts playing in a store that I dont like I just ignore it or block it out It was really funny to see how fast they left the store like that and not even come back for there stuff they just left there stuff on the floor

There are a lot of songs that they do over play a lot on the radio that it can kill a good song and when you do here again in the store it might make you sick of hearing it but still I wont just leave and stop shopping was silly of them to do that

Any girl that would have to walk out of store just because a pop song came on sounds ludicrously high-maintenance.

I don't even ever realize there is a song playing. I go in get my stuff and get out. If for some reason I happened to notice a song being played that I didn't like it wouldn't even occur to me to leave the store. I would just get on with what I was there to do. I do have to say though that I can not stand Adele. The songs were never that great to begin with and they are overplayed by far. So if that came on and I noticed I would not be in the best of moods until the song ended.

When I saw the thread title, I thought it sounded stupid, but then I read it and saw it made sense. Actually, yes, I have. It's hard to relax and spend money when a song you don't like is on. That's why I don't shop at Abercrombie and Fitch much.

I cringed, but kept going.
