I'm gonna repeat what I said in the news section.
Toonami is back and guess what? I don't give a damn because we now live in a world where you have the internet...in which we have Bittorrent, Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, and for god sakes...CRUNCHYROLL to get our anime fix these days.
So I don't get what the excitement is all about. No, don't ask me to tell that story again of how I got into sailor moon one day while the TV was on mute during toonami's hours.
Look at the lineup. You telling me you can't watch Bleach...um...now...on..Crunchyroll, at anytime? Just about most anime fans probably saw Cowboy Bebop at this point. The rest you can most likely see already or have seen already through Hulu or even by Bittorrenting them.
Why not focus on new anime series? Shows we haven't seen yet that these places don't carry?
It won't make a difference to me, since I don't even watch TV these days.

It would be so awesome if the co produced anime that is popular in the West but ended far too soon(like they did for Big O season 2) . Anime like Kenichi, Rave Master and Slayers.

Then you don't have Toonami. AS is short for Adult Swim, Cartoon Network's late night block. Most of those anime are on AS's Saturday night schedule currently.

I honestly feel nothing at all as fighting shows are very boring to me. This does not mean I hate action shows, I just don't find any of the above entertaining.

i've nvr watched it since i wasn't born/raised in us, but... don't ppl here normally watch anime online anyways? and... isn't toonami all dubbed? i don't get why ppl are so ecstatic over this.

There are still a fair amount of people with dial up internet connection or have cable but no internet at all. So no not everyone can watch online.
Believe it or not there is a large amount of people that like dubbed anime - shocking isn't it (I am one of those people) It is only weird for me when I watch it subbed first.

the fact that its late night means this isn't 100% Toonami, for me at least
as long as it remains in this time slot, it'll still be adult swim
i mean, i'm happy that there is still interest in Toonami, i grew up with it, saw the rise and fall
and the fact that its back in some form is good, though i'll still get my anime fix from CR and other online anime streaming providers rather than TV
