Since Deadman Wonderland bombed in BD/DVD sales in Japan, and somewhat increased manga sales, the prospects of getting a 2nd season are currently low.

However, if DW manages to get good ratings on Toonami, it opens up the possiblity of Cartoon Network partly funding more Deadman Wonderland to be made, like they did with the 2nd season of The Big O . I have heard that some people have said that DW could be big here in the West, and now it's time to see if that's true.

If you are a fan of Deadman Wonderland, you should support the series by watching it on Toonami.

Well, I can't say for now that I'll re-watch the series again but it was quite enjoyable for me. I might also check out the OVA soon.

As for the series, the ending is very ambiguous and the story can definitely progress into a season 2 so, I support this. I'm not sure about the other series, Casshern Sins though. Got mixed feelings for it right now.

I think Deadman will be another one of those shows that will be way more popular in the West than it was in Japan too, Along side Ghost in the Shell, Bebop and such.

Yes they really should commission Season 2 for Deadman and Season 3 for Ghost is they ever find the funds

OK, I was trying to provide some background for how the series did in Japan. Anime production involves many different parties(animation studios, publishers if based on manga or light novels, the music companies, advertising companies, TV stations, etc.) and so increased manga sales and merchandise sales do figure into whether an anime is "successful" or not.

I hope that helps to clear up some of the misunderstanding. What I'm basically saying is that a successful TV broadcasting run here in North America could help bolster the chances of getting a second season.

Fingers crossed for a second season! That show was awesome and it was heartbreaking that they stopped it where they did.

I wouldn't mind watching it again. But I really do hope that they'll come out with a season 2. I didn't like the ending cause there's lots more to the story. I mean he didn't even find the "Red Man"...

we know that Funimation has done the ADR for that anime and I think it will do well in the Adult Swim line up. I can understand why it didnt do well in Japan.

I would like to see a second season but its all about the money making of the title. We shall see,

But Casshern Sin might not work well in that Adult Swin line up. It looks artsy, interesting but the pacing of that anime is very slow and the story drove me nuts and at 1 am in the morning.... it is doomed to fail.
