Today, Google Chrome has overtaken Internet Explorer as the most popular browser in the world. Yes, the world. If you're still using IE, shame on you. Aside from that, I was wondering about the possibility of a Google Chrome app/extension for the browser. Think about it, it could be awesome:

Use #1: An extension (icons located in the top right corner of the browser) could allow for easy access to news, anime schedule, and direct links to the content of the website, without leaving the current page the user is accessing.

Use #2: Along with the use of an extension, you would receive a notification when a simulcast is about to start, along with news and such, replies from forums, or inbox messages.

Use #3: I enjoy submitting tips of news, because it makes me feel involved at CR. If you had a "Submit a Tip" option on the extension, it would allow for almost instantaneous submitting upon viewing the article you wish to submit, by simply giving the Title, short description, and link.

As for the app itself, here are some uses I've thought up:

Use #1: An incredibly simple layout of the content of CR, while providing an in-depth experience as well (mimicking the layout of the iPad app using HTML 5).

Use #2: Quicker load times - if you used HTML 5 (which is WAY better/more stable than Flash) you'd have tremendous load speeds, along with a better viewing experience for the user. Along with that, it would just be the anime content on the app, so there'd be no background noise while streaming the content.

So, what do you guys think?
