bleach was a good time killer, but the story hardly progessed, there was never any character interaction and tbh i think ichigo was one of the dumbest people ever

Bleach was never an absolute 'have to watch it' obsession....

I did enjoy the Espada and loved No 4....

and Nel...

after that I did not catch too many episodes...

Bleach might not be in my Top 3 but is around 5 to 6.The anime is good and the storyline sometimes the filler makes people to hate them becomes boring. The Espada i believe was the best season. I do Don't think the bleach will be over.

I've liked, loved and disliked both Naruto and Bleach, but never hated. There have been fantastic moments/arcs in both animes that have left me with real emotions (angry, sad, happy etc), unlike some of the current top-watchers where the punch/plot line is a short skirt and the mystery of whom the dumbest one really is.

But fair enough, Naruto and Bleach have some of the worst fillers I've ever seen, but IMO that shouldn't automatically cancel out all the great parts, which IMO both shows have plenty of.

But honestly, I wasn't aware that they were getting that much hate, beyond filler-hate that is..
They've both been my favourite at one time or another, I don't really have that one favourite anymore, I just tend to like a few selected ones and ignore the rest..

Well, my relationship with Bleach has been up and down. It okay in the beginning with when Ichigo was the substitute shinigami and running around with his friends. But nothing extraordinary and I didn't really care for it, only watching it because my brother assured me it was going to get better.

I got really into it when they brought Soul Society in and introduced the Shinigami. I know a lot of people didn't like the focus shifting from the humans to Shinigami and Bleach no longer being a "high school drama". But I like worlds and Bleach was fun in that it was our world (human world) + the world of the Shinigami. So Bleach became my favourite during the Soul Society Arc.

I did not like the Arrancar much but still, I probably enjoyed the Arrancar Arc more then most people I know. However, I was disappointed by the climax of that arc. How Aizen was defeated, his reasons for creating the Espada.... Plus Aizen was just not a good villain to have out in the open. Everything about him screamed out "guy who works from the shadows". To have him out in the open and the focus... did not work out too well I thought. Xcution was an okay arc but I pretty much lost interest in Bleach after Gin died.

That said, the final arc that is currently unfolding in the manga seem promising and I do still following the manga. I am just not as excited about every new manga chapter that comes out like I used to be.

Bleach as a basic Shounen style anime is really quite good and I enjoyed it for the most part (damn filler arcs). I don't understand why it gets so much hate, its no DBZ but I think it is far better than Naruto (way too many fillers) and I can't say anything against one piece.

Bleach was alright for me, it was at a high point for me around the time I started watching anime. Naruto's... meh. I was never a fan of Kishimoto's drawing style, especially in its later years (looks too stiff and uncomfortable at times).

I guess the reason why people prefer Naruto over Bleach is that I heard Kubo's a big troll (I personally can't agree/disagree with this notion since I don't read the Bleach manga) and that people could refer to Naruto better since it does teach its readers some morals and such.

As for One Piece, by the time I started hearing it everywhere in my previous school, it was over 200+ episodes in, so I didn't even try to give it a shot since it'll take too long.

I've no idea about One Piece, I've never really given it a chance due to the art style.
But Naruto still has some remnants of a story (even if it is on it's last legs), whereas Bleach just got insanely repetitive.

Including Fillers You had a character losing their powers once every arc, only to regain them in the next one, so that 'plot device' never really holds any meaning anymore.
No-one ever dies, it does do a good job of making us like the villains before killing them, so that's well done, but the main characters never die and nothing costly is ever really lost.
It's literally turned into a power-up fest as many battle manga/anime do.
And Tite Kubo has gone on record saying "I can see Bleach going on for another 10 years", so it's clear he's in it solely for the money now.
.
.
This all being said, it was an interesting, if a bit bland, series to begin with and the Soul Society arc was pretty damn cool.
I'd argue that even the Bounto arc was enjoyable enough for filler, but they handled the Espada arc poorly and then Aizen's defeat was just kind of pitiful.

So in short, yeah I used to like it, it's a fun thing to watch but it's definitely (kinda like Yu-Gi-Oh!) lost any credibility it once had.

Bleach wasn't my favorite anime, I don't think anything that is so long can remain a favorite unless it always has stupendous stories each and every episode and the animation it also top quality. Anime's like Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, Fairytail...your usual weekly animes are hurriedly drawn, and stories are recycled for convenience reasons sometimes, but also because fans coming in on episode 140+ of Bleach can still pick up and watch and pretty much understand the premise behind the show, without feeling like they have to go back to the very beginning. Naruto Shippuden, with its constant flashbacks and filler arcs that go back to the original Naruto episodes, also have the same effect. So there is reasoning behind the maddening filler episodes.
I will agree with most that Bleach had better filler's (the Bount arc being the exception).
I have never watched One Piece, I don't like the art style so I have never bothered with it.

Bleach, Naruto and Fairytail are always in the list to watch/read every week though - even if I say it wasn't or isn't my favorite, I still enjoy it immensely. I wouldn't waste my time watching it if I didn't find it enjoyable.

My absolute favorite, Trinity Blood. Close second, Steins;Gate.
Like I said, an anime with a clear storyline, a beginning, a plot, character development, and an ending - good animation included in this, and then you will have a favorite.

not really.... im not much of a fan of bleach because its really cliche! well for me it is >_<" it's an anime that i would watch if i have nothing else to do LOL

Why is it that Naruto and One Piece aren't getting the same amount of hate Bleach is getting?
Is it because of the difference in quality? And if not, then why is it?
that's because its freaking unique or its somehow unbelievably funny/interesting/genius? naruto is just amazing overall [the manga] anime has too much filler but! i still watch it XD one piece is on par with naruto in my mind because it is also amazing!! but i hate the flashbacks they have because its soo out of place to luffy's personality...? i don know LOL

I would say it was up there on my list years ago. It was never my favourite, but I watched the anime for a long time. I also put it on hold for a while during the Zanpaktou Rebellion Ark, but then started watching the later episodes until the end.

Never really got into Naruto and never seen One Piece. I think people tend to choose sides, and the fact that they choose 1 of these 3, then the other 1 or 2 would become the enemy basically. Naruto seems to have kept a lot of its fans over its time for what ever reason, while I think Bleach has lost a lot of people over time for what ever reason. I think Bleach just loses people's interest and support which would leave it kind of defenseless and open to criticism.

Anyways, that's what I think.

Bleach was one of the series that really got me into anime, so it will always hold a special spot on my list. Some of the filler is pretty bad, (I'm looking at you, Bounts) but there's some interesting stuff in there too, and the main story I thought was awesome. Most all of the moves and plot turns are telegraphed, but that's part of the fun, you just have to disconnect for a bit, enjoy all those silly moments when they're shouting for their bankai, or someone shows up just in time to dish out some pain. Do they really need to send 5 squad captains to watch Ichigo fold a funny hat out of newspaper? No, but its still awesome! And that's why I will always love bleach.
