As you get older your long term memory expands hence why older people always talk about the past like it was yesterday and even act childlike. I will always remember my grandparents.

Gramps died of a stroke before i was even born and Granny died 7 years ago of old age. But granny was a pretty old fashioned lady. Smoking tabacco and making sweaters and such.
