It's always idiots having children when they clearly should not. And why didn't they arrest the mother to? She saw her daughter tied up and did nothing about it according to the article.

Had any of you stopped to consider that they intended to cook the child when the mother got home?

That explains everything!

Kids are annoying, I'd do the same to my sister if she was interrupting my game time. The reaction from my mother would probably be similar. We're a very close family.

We have dipsticks over here also. A few decades ago a poor middle-aged couple got put away for child endangerment. They had 2 teenage kids and both worked full-time jobs when they weren't farming. If the kids didn't have school and the couple had to be away (work, etc) they would take each kid out to the garage, put each in a 55-gallon drum which had a few air holes, seal the lid, then go. The kids never squealed on their parents because they had become conditioned over the years to be this sub-serviant. A county Mountie found them by mistake while looking for the parents on the property over some other matter. The kids never uttered any words while the sheriff looked around in the garage but scratching noises within the drums rose his suspicions.

Southwest Missouri, I swear???? Good place to be FROM.
