Since there's no official Crunchy Roll app for Google's Chrome browser, I decided to make my own.
The app itself is basically a glorified bookmark that will bring you to Crunchy Roll's main page. In case anyone might find it useful, I've decided to share it here. Screenshot ![]() You can download the app from the following link: http://www.mediafire.com/?7ihhy65k936xxe3 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Version 2 http://www.mediafire.com/?7voua2f1c12laae opens "minimalist" version of CR install by dragging and dropping the downloaded crx file from the above link into any opened Chrome window. -enjoy |

Maybe I'm missing something, but what's the point of a Crunchyroll app for Google Chrome? Chrome is a web browser and Crunchyroll's main base of operations is a website. This app jumps out to me like it's based around the idea of, "Wouldn't it be cool if you could access CR from a web browser," where the creator is completely unaware that CR is a website and can already be accessed from a web browser.

Isn't the favorites list good enough? |

Yeah I don't get this. Did you even get permission to make one of these? |

My bookmarks are at the top of my Chrome browser. But if I open a new tab, CR is the second most visited site, so it's always in my "recent" slot.
FYI- Facebook is not the number 1 most visited. :p |

I'm aware that this app is pretty much useless. I made it because I just wanted something visually appealing to look at within Chrome's app drawer.
I decided to share it here because I thought someone else might have been looking for something similar. with that said here's a 2nd version: http://www.mediafire.com/?7voua2f1c12laae same function as first version except it opens up the "minimalist" mobile version of crunchy roll. Also, it's packed as a crx file so installation is as easy as dragging the crx file into an open Chrome window. “World is abundant.Intellect is redundant.” |
