I didn't realize how late i was on the final act. I mean, i was gonna watch it back in 2010, but obviously i didn't get to it! I was just watching a few clips from some episode, and man was i stupid to click on some wrong ones. (i spoiled it all for myself).

I didn't watch the whole first season because i felt that the plot was never going to end, (167 episodes! come on! that's why i never watched naruto [but that's another story]) but after some spoilers, it amazed me how much they've completed the whole plot and it all fit perfectly (i guess 100+ episodes is necessary when the directors plan to end it THIS well). [remember that these are just spoilers, too].

i've watched inuyasha since i was a kid, and taking interest in it again leaves me in anticipation. i want to watch it all over again, so i can finish the final act correctly. but thats about 200 episodes to catch up with. pretty intimidating haha.

one thing i REALLY want to say about something !! MAJOR SPOILER!!
I'll make sure i won't spoil this for anyone else as i did for myself.

from beginning till end, it was a great show. i used to complain about why it would never end, but now im asking myself why it had to. the final act is necessary to watch if you've seen majority of the first season. that's all!

-- I have a lot more to say about the final act, but im gonna cut it short to here

yea, im still waiting for the dub. subs good as well. but i grew up on the dubs.

all my friends watched it already and they spoiled alot of things. most of which i kinda figured out myself, so no big dissappointment.

167 episodes were required because the anime kept catching up with the manga, a common problem with long running shows that don't go on hiatus.

Back when Inuyasha: The Final Act was originally being aired and simulcast, I calculated the number of episodes the original series would have been, had it proceeded at the same pace (i.e., proportional number of volumes per episodes). I don't recall the exact number at the moment, but it less than half the 167 total.

The subs were good but I didn't like how much was skipped from the manga in Inuyasha: Final Act

I was quite satisfied on how they ended it, one day I'll have to re-watch all of it again.
