If you're talking about cigarettes, then no.

My friend had an eating disorder, and she smoked because it apparently curbed her appetite, but now can't quit no matter how hard she tried. I don't want the same thing happening to me, so I try to stay away from cigarettes.

No. I'd rather spend my money on anime, duh.

Besides, if I get anywhere near tobacco smoke, or a person who's a smoker, the fumes make me want to vomit.

Ive noticed alot of friends who hate smoking, but years later they get into it. Would be interesting to see if anyone here who's not doing it now, comes back and admits it a few years later.

I smoked hookah during the craze in early 2000s, then took a longggggggg 5+ year break and got back into it 2009 ish. Best dessert ever!

I don't and have never considered smoking. There are just so many better alternatives I can't even find I good reason for myself to want to. Though for some I'm sure they have good reasons for smoking... (you should facepalm at yourself if the reason you started smoking was to look cool or peer pressure )

I wanna facepalm because I started out of boredom and curiosity. At least looking cool would've been more of a valid reason. As for peer pressure, all my friends motivated me to quit smoking, which is why most of them still don't know I quit almost one year later.

All the guys in my family (uncles + cousins) smoke but I don't think I will.

Sure it looks cool but I'm still young so I won't think about it til I'm older.


My brother smokes and so do a lot of my friends. Personally, I don't anymore and never will again because it's sort of degrading. Not that I mind that other people do it, it's just to me it's like you're setting yourself up to be weak. You'll have to give in to an addiction every time you buy a pack and waste money that could be beneficial to something else. The fact that I would "need" a cigarette and not just want one is just weird for me. I like the feeling of freedom I get when not being addicted to something. My advice is to not put yourself in that situation and avoid the stress it will bring into your life. The people who say it's a stress reliever don't realize that it enhances the stress when you aren't able to smoke after you are addicted.

i dont know about you guys but i smoke weed at least twice a day for the past three or so years and am currently enrolled in harvard on track for possibly the presidency...not to be pretentious or anything but you guys can all suck my left testicle

Cigarettes? I've smoked two in my entire life...

Other stuff? Only have done weed two times in my life also. Don't plan on doing them again, to be honest.

lol You forget America has elected Bush twice. Which means he might actually have a chance.

Honestly, I hate smoking. My dad smoked most of his life and it just sucks. It smells like crap, causes all kinds of health problems, and smoking all those cigarettes can add up. I wouldn't mind it really if it only effected the person smoking. I mean wth do I care if some idiot wants to smoke his life away. The only problem is that it still smells like crap and hurts surrounding people.
