i don't but i always intake second hand smokes.

I've heard that the damage from secondhand smoke is worse than the damage smokers get themselves.

I think I got that from Darker than Black haha.

80% of Europe smokes.
About 30% of Americans smoke.
But the cancer rate in America is 3 times higher than in Europe.
So is really the smoking that's killing us, or the crap processed fast food that we eat?
Cause in Europe, folks eat more Lamb, poultry, and pork. As well as much more whole fruits and veggies.
We Americans are getting fatter and are in worse health every year, but the anti smoking lobbyist in DC would have you believe "Big Tobacco"
is the problem.

I don't smoke cigarettes, I like to live stoned as much as possible, and, on occasion, run my family out the room with a big stinky cigar.
And I think it's wrong for the Anti-smoking Nazi's to continually push smokers farther and farther away from they're god given right to do whatever the hell they want to themselves.

Btw, I'm not going to go run and look it up, cause I'm to lazy, but all you have to do is Google for this fact;

There has NEVER EVER been a lab study ANYWHERE in ANY COUNTRY that directly links smoking to cancer, even in tests where unfiltered tobacco smoke was piped into the cages of rats who were genetically modified to be predisposed to getting cancer, not a single friggan rat ever got sick, ever.
Conclusion: keep smoking, it's good for you

Cigarettes are a stimulant, the same as coffee. The initial calming feeling you get when you have a smoke isn't due to the effects of the ciggie, it's due to your brain getting it's fix. On the flip side, when you are smoking your breathing is more controlled which helps with anxiety.

There is no cure for anxiety and there never will be (it's a required function for us to continue to exist) but it is manageable though things like CBT so go see your doctor and get stuck into courses that'll teach you methods to cope with the anxiety that doesn't involve shoving a ton of chemicals into your lungs.

I do smoke, have done for years even after health problems with my lungs (including operations on my lungs) but ex-smokers are the worst, they are all "ohh I hate smoke now, can't stand it, you should give up like me" etc. so I smoke just to annoy them.

I do it for relaxation of nerves among other things + pretty much addicted to it.

What is CBT? do I have to go to a doctor to get put in these magical "courses"? lol

I have had anxiety for my entire life and it has always been "see a shrink" or "take a pill" so I am pretty psyched to hear about something else.

As for smoking itself, I wouldn't recommend starting but I think you should have every right to make bad decisions if you want to.

I don't smoke and detest if a smoker smokes in my face. That is annoying. Apart from that, if a get a girlfriend who smokes then she must do so outside and wash her hands afterwards to get rid of the smell.

So yeah, a bit particular. Also hate the fact most smokers can't smell their own stench. But most of my friends smoke so I can't really complain much. Once I drink a couple the smell disappears.
