Can't stand the smell of cigarettes or cigars and I probably couldn't date someone who did.
I do love me some hookah though, but only in groups of 3 or more people. For me smoking, like drinking, is no fun alone so I guess you could say i'm a social smoker.

never smoke. i merely think of it as a habit people don't like to break, a very unhealthy habit, but i eat double pepperoni pizzas and chug mt dew so i have very little power in that statement. most just do it for the familiarity and to engage in their addiction to nicotine. why they start in the first place is of each person's reasoning. fact is, not smoking and chewing usually leads to less heath problems along with not breathing dust and staying away from toxic waste and acids.
edit: oh right, if i'll date someone who does. im not sure, haven't had that experience, i'd say that i would if they keep the smoke out of the apt.

I'll smoke cigars since you don't have to inhale them.
But I know alot people that want to quit cigarettes, so i never picked up on it.
Plus it's expensive and just the smell of cigarette smoke gives me a headache!

I doubt I ever will. They cost too much. Money and health wise.
Most people in my family do though, so the smell is rather comforting.

I tried it once, but I didn't like it. Then again I was like 13 at the time. A lot of my friends smoke, so I eventually got used to being around the smoke a lot. Sometimes it can be attractive. I think it depends on the person for me. I do think about doing it once in a while, just get a random craving for the taste of it.

I've tried hookah once, it wasn't bad don't really know if I will try it again; suppose you have to be in the mood to do something like that. But most of my friends smoke, so it is hard to get away from it, but living where I do I already have bad lungs. I don't really have a problem with smoking or people who smoke, the only time that I generally have a problem with smoking is when someone who is pregnant is around and people are somking around that person.
