I smoke cigarettes. Only American Spirits (which is only tobacco). Its a terrible habit - I picked it up last year in college.

I don't smoke. Most of my family does. I find it disgusting. If anyone smokes in a moving vehicle with me in it I would most likely barf. And I have in the past after warning my cousin not to smoke with me in the car.

I very rarely smoke. I hookah on tuesdays sometimes and I'll have a hit or two of herb if friends have it, but that's about it. Oh, and I sometimes will smoke a few cigs if I go clubbing and feel like it during breaks.

My girlfriend smokes, though. 1-3 cigs a day, so it's not a big deal. She is okay without them, but she just likes to smoke after work or after meals.

I don't smoke, and I don't wish to ever.

Smoking is honestly unnecessary and causes great health issues. It can also be really expensive (lol)
My father used to smoke daily, but since he found Christ, he hasn't smoked a single cigarette. I hope to lead a positive example for my kids someday the way he has for me the past few years

I don't smoke. The dangers to your health are not worth it and I found both the look and the smell of smoking repulsive even when I was too young to know about the damage to your health. So, I really wouldn't like to have a lover that smoked (plus I've been told that kissing a smoker tastes like licking a used ashtray to a non-smoker; I can't vouch for that though).
I also think it's cowardly to use any form of drug to escape the anxiety of life (save for diagnosed medical purposes and even they can become overly reliant).
Okay, rant over.

Just watch the Chantix. My husband took it for about 3 weeks and successfully quit, but mainly he just stopped the smoking and the Chantix too - Chantix gave him some awful nightmares and made him feel "strange"...he couldn't really explain it to me, but he said it was like he had medicine head all the time and bad dry mouth.
A friend of mine said her husband experienced the same thing, except he was having nightmares from his tenure in Afghanistan...needless to say when he woke her up waving a gun around, he stopped taking it too. Although, he quit smoking as well...

So maybe that is all it takes; some really crappy nightmares, and you quit smoking. There you go (LOL).

As far as the topic goes, I have only tried smoking once or twice. Gave me a nice buzz while I was drinking, but that's about it. The taste didn't intrigue me any, and I wouldn't buy the cigarettes myself, so no worry that I was going to become addicted really.
My whole family smoked (some still do). And my husband smoked when I married him.
Second hand smoke doesn't bother me unless I am confined in a small windowless, breezeless room...if you are in a car, better crack the window.
My mom and stepdad still smoke. My dad and stepmom smoke the electric cigarettes. My husband quit.

I didn't force my husband to quit though...it isn't something you can force on someone else honestly. If you truly want to do something, you will. So I left it to him. I did stress to him that for his health I would like him to think about quitting. And after his father was diagnosed with lung cancer, he finally decided that he may not want to tempt genetic fate.

Anyways, good luck to those that do want to quit.

All the guys in my family (uncles + cousins) smoke but I don't think I will.

Sure it looks cool but I'm still young so I won't think about it til I'm older.

LMAO! You think its cool? Wow. Let me just put it simply that a difference between an bullet and a cigarette is just that the bullet kills much faster and quicker than a cigarette.

For me I have Never smoked and never will and I am 19 so people my age usually smoke a lot!
