I don't smoke. I'm one of the very few people in my whole family that doesn't smoke. I've tried it one or twice when I was younger out of curiosity. It never appealed to me, and never will.

22 years old and never smoked.

I remember when I was 5-6 years old I picked up a cigarette bud from the floor and started imitating my uncle. You can say the My mother wasn't really to happy about that.....

Choosing to smoke has nothing to do with intelligence. Many of the world's greatest thinkers are or were smokers. Some of them were coke-heads, pot-heads, speed addicts, or straight up junkies. My understanding is that brilliance more often leads to drug abuse than not.

No, I don't plan on smoking. I think it's alright. Not the smartest choice but many smoked before people found out it's bad side effects, and it's very difficult to stop.
I would date a lover who smoked, but I wouldn't want to see them stress out over it. In the end, smoking just causes more stress and doesn't relieve any.

I lol'd really loudly and quickly, then shut my mouth and cursed myself for being a cunt LOL. It half-looked like you were doing deadpan humour.

For me, cigarettes and coffee go really well together. Even better than smoking while drinking beer (which I have also grown to be accustomed to). When I have early morning classes, like 7AM, I would be minutes early so I can drink coffee and smoke a stick before going to class.

You just have to keep a sanitizer and pop some candy after. For some reason, I've noticed that it is more difficult to get rid of the smell during the morning.

Last semester, I have a vacant after that 7-8 class, so me and my friends would drink coffee (another round for me), smoke, and play League of Legends at a nearby computer shop together. When waiting for a match, or the respawn of a champion takes some time, a sip of smoke would be nice.

Waiting for someone makes smoking very tempting as well. Being full makes me want to smoke too. I don't know why but it feels good.

I don't smoke when I am at home. I don't smoke when I have a date . I don't like smoking. Especially for girls. It's a habit I've been trying to get rid of and I think I'm doing quite well. Used to smoke a pack or more in a day, especially when I was living alone for three years. Maybe because I live with my parents again, there's some sort of control. Now, I'm just smoking 2-5 sticks whenever I am not at home.

How it started:
Tried it first when I was in high school but did not really enjoy it. Come my college years, some 4 years ago. I started hanging out with smokers who told me NOT to be like them. Curious, I tried smoking again and the effect to me was not the same as it was the first time I tried it. Because I was living alone at an apartment, I fed the addiction. I would smoke every chance I got. Not because I needed it but because I just want to do it and somehow, I kind of like it. Suddenly, I wake up, and it just became a part of me. I also found out, weirdly, I get to study better while smoking. Probably because it keeps me from sleeping. Usually, I cant finish my readings because I would fall asleep. Smoking kept me awake? I don't know. I can't really rationalize it. Up until now, I like studying at Starbucks, order some hot coffee to drink while I smoke and study. I retain a lot and I get good scores. Maybe because I just got used to it.

“Choosing to smoke has nothing to do with intelligence.”
That's what I said, you should have quit right there, since that’s the only rational sentence in your entire comment.
