No. I don't smoke.
Why ? Two reasons
1. I'm too young, and I don't feel like breaking the law
2. It's stupid. Smoking does nothing good for your body, shortens your lifespan, and is plain unattractive (in my opinion). I see people who smoke as ignorant, or trying desperately to remain ignorant. It's used to mask pain, look cool, ect. ect. ect., but it's all worthless

No!
-It's very unhealthy and cause lung and heart problems that can result into cancer or other dangerous disease!
-The smoke is polluting our earth which causes many problems nowadays like climate changes and global warming.

i started smoking when i was 16 or so, to be honest i think i did it more out of habit in social settings then any thing else. i could be at home and not have cigs for months and it would never bother me at all i have never felt any form of withdrawal or any thing but as soon as some one walks in my house and lights one up i want one. i smoke maybe one or 2 cigarettes a month now a day only when some one lets me bum one. i just dont care to spend the money on them for how much the cost and i just want to be healthier

now do i care if a lover does it? not really. it would make it difficult for me not to though. luckily my husband doesnt smoke, but unfortunately he dips tobacco. which is a FAR more disgusting habit if you ask me. i will take a cloud of smoke over watching some one spit constantly any day.

I don't smoke, but I love the smell and the look.
I don't think I'll ever smoke, but, I wouldn't mind hanging with people who did.....

I started smoking at a young age and smoked for 10 years (almost chain in the end).
Stopped smoking about 5 years ago just decided to not smoke anymore and not even once in that time did i miss it.(Was really easy to quit i expected it to be a hassle but was very easy).

I like to point out that in my opinion smokers get a lot of hate from none smokers even tho they should be thanked.
After all without smokers there would be a lot less income for the state (Tax on tobacco is insane) so if no one would smoke anymore everyone would have to pay for it

I smoked for about 5 years when I was younger.
Then one day I just decided to stop and I did.
Weird how that works.

I smoked for 5 years. I currently do not smoke.

My opinions of smoking? It's a pointless habit that has detrimental effects to your health that can start to appear as early as a year of habitual smoking. (lung cancer isn't the only complication, asthma related issues, etc, etc)

Would I date a lover who smoked? Sure, it's her body but she better keep a pack of gum on her and do it outside.

Nope. Never have. Second hand smoking is something I've often had a problem avoiding though. Pisses me off.

Pause!

I'mma let you finish, but most of the data regarding secondhand smoke is inconclusive and there's a plethora of data to support either side of the argument. About the only validity to this statement is if you happen to be an asthmatic and you're generally very sensitive to any perfumes, smoke, etc. From a biological standpoint, if you're a relatively healthy person, you're lungs are perfectly capable of detoxing themselves. It's the constant barrage of smoke that causes damage. If you walk into a room and breathe in smoke for a whole 5 minutes, then walk out... you're not gonna die of lung cancer a few years later. The human body is not retarded.
