What do you think of them, what do you have to say to them? Share your experience

I know someone that owes me about thirty dollars. I still haven't gotten the money back yet...or ever, which really pisses the hell out of me. This specific situation was different from simply just forever prolonging the time to pay back the money that this person owed. During the time she owed me money, she asked me for money again because she was on a budget. I totally understand but I really didn't want to give any more money to her so I decided not to use money altogether so she wouldn't feel left out for being short on cash. Only a short while after she had the audacity to pull out her debit card and swipe the dam thing in front of me. Let me tell you, it was a back hand slap to my face. She claimed to have paid me back, which we both knew was a lie. if it wasn't, I'm pretty sure she was referring to the time where she brought me the 1.50 bag of chips and a Arizona drink.

This is the reason I never lend out money. Or anything else for that matter.

I give gifts, and steal their inner warm fuzzy feeling from them. Fair trade, I'd say.

Yeah, plenty of people owe me and yet most of them have forgotten me.

Wow man that sounds like shit.

I'm pretty impatient about these things but in the recent times I have bought others things I've gotten paid back for it.
If I buy someone something because let's say they don't have money on them at the time I won't bother them to pay me back but instead I'll refuse to do anything nice for them in the future. ^^
If anyone wants to avoid being screwed, I recommend you don't give out money at all. You can buy a friend something but I wouldn't do it unless they have a job or a good allowance and you know that they usually have money on them.

There is an old proverb I like concerning this situation :

"Don't lend money to your friend, you will lose both your money and your friend."

Yeah, it's the old saying(s). First mistake, shame on you; second mistake, shame on me. No easy answer other than say "No!".

I'm a nice person so I dont really ask for a pay back, unless it's to my bestfriend Dulce.

and there's this classmate of mine who owes me 20php since 2nd grade.
She forgot about it so I leave it be XD

I lend money to friends when they really are in need. I always tell them they can pay me whenever. If they don't pay me back, and they ask for money again, I just don't lend them money anymore.

I expect no payback. I never have nor will I ever expect money in return. If someone is in a pinch and I have the means to help them I will. That being said If it puts me out too much I wont do it.

If i lend money out to friends, i leave it up to them to decide if they want to pay me back or not, but if its alot of money im loaning them then i want something back.

I replaced a few parts on my computer a few months ago, I have a friend who I play games with and he had a pretty shitty computer so I felt bad for him. I decided I would hook him up with the parts for cheap, he didn't have the money so I said it was fine and we agreed he would pay me back within the month. I gave him about 300$ in parts and he ended up moving away and ignored the fact that he owed me money whenever I spoke to him.

We agreed that he would pay me 150$ which was fairly cheap for the products I gave him and installed myself.
