Well, I only try to date the tsunderes. There are several girls I'm just friends with. I can understand automatically wanting to date someone who's friendly, but, for some of us guys, we're too disciplined to go after a girl who's not our type. I think it's pretty easy for men and women to stay friends.

Yes they can but it requires both parties to have a certain level of maturity and self control. I have had many male friends over the years and I did find myself initially romantically attracted to some of them I never acted on it. Once I got to know them better my initial romantic attracted to them faded because I realized is wasn't really them I was attracted to but some of their traits. Does that make sense? It's like, "Oh he is really funny I like his humor I want someone with that same type of humor," or, "Wow he is really knowledgeable about such and such, it's not really him I like but his knowledge," that type of thing. I have no way of knowing if a male friend likes that way unless he comes out and says it, but even if he secretly has a thing for me (and keeps it secret) I don't see how it effects our friendship.... well on my end anyways he will just have to work out his feelings on his own.

It really all depends on whether or not you want to stay that way with them. Cause in reality when a man and women are attracted to each other we live in a society in which guys are to confess their love towards said women but when put in the situation its a double edge'd sword since either it works out and you can be happily a couple or it ruins your friendship. So all in all I would have to say it really depends on how the man and women are feeling towards each other

All my female friends want me, so I guess maybe for a while, until they decide they can't take it anymore.

Yeah male and females can be friends. It can be tricky though. I dont have any female friends because it can cause complications. People end up liking each other and then you have to figure out if you wanna keep your friend or take it further and possibly lose a friend later. Not to mention EVERY girlfriend I have ever had, has issues with other women being around me. I'm a good looking guy so I cant blame them. Besides too many women can get ugly sometimes. Especially if its a bunch of catty bitches. ugh.

Relationships are just overcomplicated friendships with too many restrictions and no real perks to make it worth the trouble. I really don't see why anyone would risk a perfectly good friendship for that... What very few friends I have are all guys and we're all cool.. They're free to like me, but they all knew from the start not to expect anything from me.. Lol

As long as there is no sexual attraction between them, then yeah. The guy could be gay, the girl could be gay, they could both be gay, or they could just not be attracted to each other. I've had a few friends who were girls that I was not attracted to, but I enjoyed hanging out with them. I don't quite know how they felt about me, but they were in relationships at the time so I guess they didn't see me as anything more than a friend either.

from my experience,..not sure >_< it stirred alot of problems between us when one of them would start falling for me for some odd reason! I have managed to be friends with some guys with out the problems though, the thing I hate the most is when one of the people (guy or girl) starts bitching about the "friendzone" and blames the friend they like and gets bitter at them instead of respectfully accepting that friend doesnt feel the same way
